This is not a rooftop wine tasting tour; it’s a 3 mile walking tour with two port tastings. First port tasting was at an outdoor garden overlooking the river, second wine tasting was across the river and in another park along with a few hundred other people watching the sunset. You do not end at the point you started. Just want to make sure folks understand that there is a a lot of walking and two port tastings from plastic cups……

We are very sorry to hear that the tour didn't go through your expectations.
We are aware of the plastic cups mentioned, however, the guide will have explained that it is for safety reasons, as the wine tasting takes place at the pleasant viewpoint of Virtudes. We would also like to mention that, contrary to what was mentioned, the tasting in the second spot is in a rooftop café, in Gaia, in glass cups.
Having in consideration your opinion we are already working to improve our services.

Not three bars as advertised, not so much of a drinking tour, there were only two drinks. We expected multiple rooftop bars. It was more of a light tour of the sights with a quick port by a view (not at a bar).
The highlight was the final stop, a rooftop bar by the main bridge with a fantastic view and generous tall drink where we stayed with the small group for longer to talk.
The guide was pleasant and had excellent English.
I don't think the tour really knows what it is, For a walking history tour it was a bit superficial and didn't have the deep expertise it needs. For a drinking tour it only really visited one bar. I didn't feel like we discovered a quality secret drinking stop to return to.
I recommend the final bar but perhaps just google 'rooftop bars' and visit independently if you are looking for something like this. It was good to meet a couple of other people so if you want a reason to meet new people this could be worth it.

Comment se faire avoir sur ces points soit disant culminants et lumineux à l'heure de l'apéro. Voyageant seule je me suis dis cela peut être pas mal pour voir des spots à refaire ensuite solo, je me suis retrouvée seule(personne d'autre) avec un guide, qui lui même me disant être une arnaque. 25€ pour 4 verres dans des endroits sans même forcément le soleil !!! A fuire

Our tour guide was great, very friendly and engaging with the group. The Portotini at the first stop was the high point of the tour.

Or guide Jasmine was very good. She had a tough job as the other 4 people in our tour did not speak English ... so it was hard to get the group to gel. All three of the sunset tour spots were different and unique... 2 of which we likely would not have discovered on our own. I loved the experience more than the port wine, which is very sweet. No problem for our guide. She arranged for vino Verde at our last spot. A perfect way to end a nice evening sampling another local specialty.

Lovely evening with Francisco visiting three bars in Porto trying three types of Port. Francisco was great at putting everyone at easy, chatting to everyone and coping with the last bar being shut for a private event. Great way to see hidden parts of Porto, try some Port and meet new people.

Really enjoyable tour, Francisco was very informative, engaging and humourous. The tour lasted about 3 hours and was a leisurely tour of the city with great port samples! Some fantastic views of the city from the rooftop bars!

My husband and I did this tour on August 2nd. Francisco was so charming and it is quite obvious that he loves both Gaia and Porto. The only reason I didn’t give this five stars is because at the second place we stopped, we couldn’t go in due to a private event. It would have been nice if Francisco would have been informed of this change. He did his best to take us to another good location but it certainly didn’t have commanding views. That being said, I would certainly recommend this tour and I’d also suggest you ask for Francisco!
