Doris de Boer is een super enthousiaste Nederlandstalige gids. Ze weet ontzettend veel te vertellen. Je krijgt zelfs aan het einde een lijst gemaild met leuke tips voor restaurants, bezienswaardigheden en leuke plekjes. Het was top!

Onze gids was Doris en zij was een spontane meid, die zichzelf zeer goed heeft ingelezen betreffende de cultuur,de bewoners en de bezienswaardigheden van de mooie stad Porto. Als je de kans krijgt vraag naar Doris als je reisleidster en je krijgt waar voor je geld.

The company is excellent, the bikes were perfect, Xavier was a fun and really well educated guide who have us a passionate and enjoyable tour. We did it on our first day in Porto to get out bearings and understand more about the city and it was perfect for this. Xavier gave lots of tips of where to go, restaurants to try, things to watch out for, etc. First and best electric tour we've done, but we'll be doing more! Great way to see a city.

My husband and I did this bike tour. My husband rates it a 5. He enjoyed it. However, I rate it a 1. I have done many bike tours. I have done one in Chicago, Boston, Barcelona, New Orleans, and Lisbon. All successful and without problems. The thing that makes it stand out was this store did not provide the proper size bikes for one’s height. Yes you can lower seat, but overall size of the bike should be given consideration. Also, in Lisbon, the guide explained the gears and operation of the electric and we were given ample opportunity to practice the bikes to get used to the bikes and how they worked. The guide made sure we were given proper sized bikes. In Porto that did not happen. We were given a brief instruction and just thrown in the tour. For some reason this bike was too big for me and I could not get control of it because of it and I fell down. It did not feel stable at all. The bikes in other cities felt stable to me and were better equipped and also provided better guidance and we were better prepared. I ended up quitting the bike tour. I am also disappointed I was not given a refund for my portion. My husband completed the tour so I am not asking for a refund for him. I feel I should be given a refund for myself. Given I ended the tour at beginning and also fell and scraped my leg. At least have courtesy and customer service and give a refund for me.

Leuke fietstocht langs de highlights van Porto. Doris is heel enthousiast, vertelt leuke verhalen over de lokale gebruiken, etc. Daarnaast geeft ze je ook nog veel persoonlijke tips mee voor de rest van je verblijf. We zijn meteen gaan eten in 1 van deze restaurantjes en dat was heerlijk!

Onze gids Doris is super enthousiast over Porto en geeft je de ins en outs van een local. Ze houdt rekening met iedereen en zorgt er zo voor dat samen uit ook samen thuis is.

Absolutely Loved the tour of Porto on an electric bike! Sophia was our guide, and she provided the small group of 6 of us with a fabulous bike ride around the entire city, an abundance of history and many stories about Porto! At the end of the tour she even provided us with a list of recommendations for food and shopping. Would definitely recommend this tour! Loved every minute of it!

Super leuke biketour onder leiding van Doris gedaan. Ze vertelt zo enthousiast over Porto dat je direct meer wil gaan ontdekken van de stad. Goede informatie met hier en daar haar persoonlijke verhaal wat het nog leuker maakt.

It’s cheaper to buy on line. But when I was there a sign had a QR icon to allow on line purchase. The web purchased line is shorter. The entrance cost is not included in the bike tour. None of our group did the tour so we all just biked on. I’m not sure the tour would wait for you if you entered.
Can my daughter 9 years old (bicycle proficient) and my son 5 (thinking infant seat best) take part in the tour?

I’m not sure if they have bike small enough for a nine-year-old. It’s also about figuring out how to use the electric portion of the bike that may be a little challenging but maybe not if they’re proficient. And I did see some bikes with infant seats. We had about 10 people on our tour and with a guide in front and a guide in back, if you decide to go I would keep my child close to you because you are riding in the street.
