Ana was a fantastic guide and the trip was well paced and wonderfully informative! Lunch was in a delightful garden area. Group size was perfect as well.

Passeio muito bom. A retirada no Hotel foi pontual, assim como o retorno. A guia foi excelente. Passeio de barco pelo rio fantástico com paisagens deslumbrantes. Almoço nota 10. Visita às vinícolas razoável.

The Douro Valley Tour was as advertised. We enjoyed a trip to two vineyards where we were given VIP tours and tastings. A sit down style lunch was provided with good quality food and drink at one of the wineries. It was all followed by a roughly half hour river cruise.
We were transported in a comfortable bus. There was no restroom on the bus so stops were arranged in advance to ensure personal comfort. Our tour guide also kept us completely informed about the travel schedule while filling us in on details as we passed by sites.
If you aren't into wines, this tour might not be for you. Otherwise, I would recommend it to nearly everyone!

Our tour guide was one of the best. Douro Valley tour. High quality wine tasting and great tastey lunch. I would do it again if there are alternate wineries.

Fantastic opportunity to see the Douro Valley Region. Excellent food for lunch next to a vineyard. Great tour guides and beautiful warm sunshine! Great value for money!

Excellent day. Sara and Rui were really helpful, funny and knowledgeable. They made the day run smoothly. The wine tours and tastings were excellent, as was the lunch. It never felt rushed but we experienced a lot and got chance to talk with the rest of our group. Easy pickup and a good experience; we would recommend.

I’m always wary that organised trips like this might not live up to the description, but I’m delighted to say that this was not the case. The coach was full, but comfortable and air-conditioned. Our guide, Sarah, was informative, entertaining and funny, and made sure the day went without a hitch. The hosts at both wineries were like professional entertainers, again brilliantly informative with a huge dose of humour. The lunch was amazing, with great fish, meat or veggie choices and a fabulous setting under the trees. The wine flowed all day and included a good mix of red, white, rose and different tawny port wines.
The boat trip was a lovely way to finish off the day and we all agreed it was an amazing way to break up intense sight-seeing in Porto, and well worth the time and money.
Would definitely recommend!

Sara was an amazing guide as she was knowledgeable about the wine and the region and kept us engaged and entertained for the ride. The vineyards were beautiful and allowed for tastings of multiple wines and other products.

Sara was an exceptional guide. She was so knowledgeable, charismatic and organized. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would recommend it for anyone wanting a little get-away from the city, while learning and drinking good wine!

They usually pick up from major hotels, if not they’ll meet you very close to where you are staying. I walked about one min to my pickup point. Starts at 9 and back by 6

We’re travelling as a couple - does this mean the group tour option is with other people? Or do you have to be a group to book the group tour?

Others in the group were also in couples or travelling on their own. We were all picked up and travelled in a comfortable van with the guide / driver. Of course spending the day together you end up talking to others in the group, everyone was friendly.
