A super sunrise spent with Dimitris in Athens, learning the principles and practical methodology of HDR photography for landscape. Dimitris took great trouble to explain the optimal camera set up and the perfect image composition. A fantastic and highly recommendable experience.

Dimitris was very knowledgeable about the area and knew exactly where to get some amazing shots. He was personable and easy to talk to, making the whole experience better. The photos turned out amazing! We couldn’t ask for better Engagement photos! Thank you Dimitris!!! Highly recommend!

I don't usually write reviews but the time we spent with Athens Photo Tour deserves the recognition. My wife and I hired Athens Photo tour to shoot our family of 5 during our trip to Athens. We couldn't have been more impressed with not only the quality of the photos but the connection Dimitris made with our family, which translated through the final product. When we saw our pictures, we were so amazed at the way he captured such special moments with our family. Dimitris put us at ease from the beginning, and made an attempt to get to know all 3 of our kids in a unique and special way, which I believe helped create a comfortable environment for our kids to be photographed in. Our 3 year old daughter is a little shy around strangers, especially men, but 10 mins after meeting with Dimitri, he had her laughing and dancing to a point where he was able to capture her completely at ease. The locations he selected were perfect, embodying the spirit of Athens without using cookie cutter locations we've seen in all the other shots. Dimitris also gave us quick but meaningful historical insights about each location and their significance to Athens. We highly recommend Athens Photo Tour if you're looking for someone to shoot your vacation to Athens.

Panos was kind, patient, and an amazing tour guide and photographer. We met near the entrance to the Acropolis and walked through the amazing neighborhood and sights around the area. So many amazing views and beautiful nooks and crannies, and we have it all in evidence in our beautiful photos. It was our most memorable family photo shoot to date...Panos was incredibly patient with our daughter too. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this!!

We spent 2 hours meandering the streets of Athens with Dimitris teaching our 12 year old how to get the best out of her Canon SLR: how to frame images, think about the light, the position of people & buildings. He also taught her so much about her camera and found some really great niche parts of Athens we wouldn’t have found otherwise! Would heartily recommend 😀

it was a great evening for me as well, walking Athens with your family and talking photography with your daughter. I don't get to do an Athens Photography tour with kids that often, i had a great time as well :)

Athens at night is amazing and my photography tour with Dimitris from Athens Photo Tour surpassed my expectations! Dimitris picked me up at my hotel and hand picked the best spots for night time photography in Athens. His tours are for up to 4 people, but on the night I selected, I was the only person. I mentioned a spot I wanted to see and he altered his itinerary to take me there. I would have never seen the sites he took me to if I had been on my own. If you have an interest in photographing the sites from a locals perspective, I highly recommend Athens Photo Tours!

I had the pleasure and honor of working with Takis in completing the Night Photography Tour of Athens. Takis was warm, friendly, genuine, and superb! He provided wonderful insights into composition and technique as well as sharing the special night beauty that Athens offers. It was the highlight of my time in Athens.

Dimitris is a knowledgeable, talented photographer who has patience for a novice. He explains concepts in ways that make it easy to understand. The day of my tour, we did a lot of walking in the heat, and he was very conscientious of how I was feeling, especially when climbing up several hills. If your mobility is an issue, he will modify the itinerary. Dimitris made several suggestions about where to stand to get good angles and explained various things that would improve the content of my photographs. Additionally, Dimitris is very knowledgeable about the city and its history. One of the things I loved was that, if he didn’t know something, he admitted it instead of making something up. As a result, I know I can trust the stories he told me about places we visited. This tour was the highlight of my trip to Athens. If you only book one tour in Athens, book this tour!

I got in touch with Dimi to help capture my proposal in Athens. Throughout the whole process, from contact to end photos, Dimi was fantastic. He provided a selection of shooting locations and sneakily stayed in the background as we arrived and then capturing the moment when it happened.
He was extremely responsive throughout the process and brought us to great spots to take photos. For those who are shy, he even directed our poses!
I cannot recommend Dimi enough, whether it is to capture any special occasion or any other photography tour!
