I had a wonderful four day tour seeing the Ancient Greek wonders. It is a fast pace, and full itinerary. I really enjoyed seeing Olympia , Delphi and Meteora. It was very special and I had a fabulous tour guide and bus driver. The accommodation was very comfortable and the views from the Delphi accommodation were magnificent.

The tour was great. There is so much history to see in such a short period of time that we could not have done it on our own. The hotels exceeded expectations and the other people we met on the tour, made it a very pleasurable experience.
We had to go on Monday, which is a French translation trip, (we knew going in) which unfortunately added extended time at each area and likely took away from free time or other sites we didn’t get to see.
Dominique, the tour guide, was very knowledgeable, but sometimes was hard to understand with her accent. The bus driver was fantastic as there is some interesting driving expertise that is needed.
I would not hesitate to recommend it.

This tour with Chat Tours was excellent and one of the best tours we've been on. This was largely due to our guide, Xenia, who was remarkably knowledgeable and who had a great way of explaining things clearly and succinctly. She really brought the ancient history to life for us.
The 16 seater tour bus was comfortable and had free WiFi. We covered almost 800 miles as the sites are very spread out, but we had plenty of rest stops at interesting places. The hotels are decent enough and all have swimming pools, although the days are very long and you didn't always have much free time between arriving and going to dinner.
For anyone wanting to learn about ancient, classical, roman, and more recent Greek history then this is the perfect tour. The scenery is also spectacular and very varied. You won't be disappointed

Absolutely amazing tour. The guide Xenia was extremely informative, very well presented and ensured the 4 days ran extremely smoothly. There’s a lot of time on the road but the trip is well structured with breaks and time for photos. The destinations are well worth the miles traveled and Xenia provides good commentary for a range of sights. The bus is very comfortable and comes with free wifi.

Our group of 14 toured with Antony (guide) and Nikos (driver). The tour itself is great; you’re in the bus a long time, but the sites are amazing and the hotels were top-notch. Most important however, was the professionalism and skill of both Nikos and Antony. They were the best! Efcharistó!

Joy was a fantastic guide and our driver, Niklos, was wonderful.
Highly recommend seeing the Peloponnese. I loved seeing the sights I've read and learned about for years. As a bonus, we happened to be in Olympia the day they lit the torch for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Great itinerary, well balanced with activities and breaks from the bus. Appreciated that nearly everything except lunches and tips were included (guide, driver, hotels, breakfasts and dinners, entry tickets, etc), which allowed us to focus on enjoying the sights instead of logistics.
Surprised the tour was bilingual, as this was nowhere in the tour description on Viator. Our guide did a nice job of balancing the information in English and French, though we'd have preferred an all English tour.
Hotels seemed more standard or tourist class to us, not the first class that was described.

Taking on a tour of Greece of nearly 1,500 km initially requires an expert driver -Ianes- and a guide like Fanery who will liven up your bus hours with timely touches of history, sprinkled with mythological stories. After visiting certain places or works such as the Parthenon, the theater of Epidaurus, the Lion Gate or the Hermes of Praxiteles, only a historical contextualization is necessary and your personal cultural tics already take you to high levels of sensation. However, facing complex settlements of demolished stones, pieces of columns or some reconstructed ones requires somewhat more exhaustive work on the part of the guide. And Fanery has provided it to us. I remember a parallel situation with my partner on a private visit commenting "everything is very evocative, but with twenty minutes of stones I have enough." Fanery managed, with his capacity for historical contextualization, to look back after visiting the settlement and imagine those fellow humans from far back (XX or XXX centuries) in their various tasks (athletic, pious, with political or commercial interests, purely idle...) And on the last day the monasteries of Meteora. A Greek phallic-geological orgy. With its large number of Doric columns and half a dozen Corinthian columns with their capitals in the form of sanctuaries.
An unforgettable tour of a country that has so much to offer visitors and in which people like Fanery and Ianes, with the professionalism of their work, contribute to placing it in the First World.

I took this tour on a solo trip to Greece in May 2023.
Overall I really enjoyed the tour, but there were a few complaints:
The tour guide did not introduce herself or the driver and was not very friendly or personable.
There were mainly English speaking people on the tour, but she did the tour in French first.
She was knowledgeable, though, but had a monotonous voice and speaking French first was annoying.
The sites visited were great and Meteora was spectacular.
One word of warning about Meteora: when inside the monasteries wear a mask. They are very crowded and poorly ventilated. I didn’t wear a mask and tested possitive for Covid a few days later.
Another caution: Pay for the tourist class hotels. I paid for a first class and found out that several others on the tour paid for tourist class and stayed in the same hotels. It was several hundred dollars difference.
My travel agent contacted Viatour and they would not refund the difference or provide a reasonable explanation.
Overall the tour was enjoyable and worth the money.

I landed at 6 a.m. and barely made it to the start of the tour. I would have had plenty of time but Aegon Air lost a lot of the luggage. They basically pick up and drop off in city center. I stayed in Plaka which was VERY NICE. They returned us in the early evening. I don't remember the time. The bus to and from the airport is a better deal. I took the bus to get back to the airport and it was no problem. The taxi driver on the way in followed me around after I got off the taxi saying he wanted more money when I gave him full fare plus tip. It was annoying. So I suggest bus. I didn't want to risk getting lost taking the buss from the airport but the taxi driver drove me to the wrong hotel at first too and yes charged me for that that crook.
