This tour is a good way to see some of the major UNESCO World Heritage sites in Greece without renting a car. Our guide, Marianna, was terrific: intelligent, extremely knowledgeable about archaeology, history, culture...she kept us on time and on track. The bus driver was very good as well, and the bus was comfortable despite the long hours needed to cover so much territory. I can't imagine how we would have been able to visit Meteora otherwise. We were given several hours at both Olympia and Delphi, less time at Epidaurus and Mycenae.
Be aware that you're making a compromise: you have no control over your time and no choice of hotels or food, and you will be staying and dining in establishments that cater to group tours. I normally would not stay in those hotels or eat at those restaurants, but that was the trade-off for expediency. The schedule is tight so don't expect to see the entire site at Epidaurus or Mycenae or have time to linger in the excellent museums. On the other hand, you will be able to see an amazing overview of Greece's cultural heritage, some major antiquities and some wonderful landscapes along the way.
Be aware that you're making a compromise: you have no control over your time and no choice of hotels or food, and you will be staying and dining in establishments that cater to group tours. I normally would not stay in those hotels or eat at those restaurants, but that was the trade-off for expediency. The schedule is tight so don't expect to see the entire site at Epidaurus or Mycenae or have time to linger in the excellent museums. On the other hand, you will be able to see an amazing overview of Greece's cultural heritage, some major antiquities and some wonderful landscapes along the way.

We are currently on the last day of this tour. We booked this 4 day tour directly with Key Tours in March 2022. At that time (and still currently posted on their website) they specified a maximum of 26 on the tour. We booked their tour because of this low maximum.
We started the tour with 20 guests. On the second day we were told that 20 more guests would be joining us on the third day. As it turned out, 19 others joined the tour after lunch to pack the bus giving a total of 39.
We no longer felt safe on the bus and reached out to Key Tours to request a refund for the 1.5 days when they exceeded their advertised maximum. Their speedy reply was: “I am sorry for this.
The information about max 26 people, is from when the we had this restriction because of Covid-19.
This restriction is not valid any more. By mistake this information was note updated in our website.”
We believe that Key Tours should have notified us of the increase in group size and given us the option to cancel. Or, they could have advertised that the group number was subject to change due to COVID protocols. They did neither.
We paid for a four day tour with a maximum of 26. Key Tours failed to deliver the product we purchased. Beware!!!

aan te bevelen . erg informatief ,leerzaam en op een goede niet opdringerige manier gebracht .
de gids -stavros- was erg vriendelijk .
hotels prima allemaal met zwembad ,geloof me dat was zeker erg fijn na een bustocht .
opstappunt en afzetplaats bij hotels was ook erg fijn .het zijn ook kleine groepjes dus geen eindeloos rijden door Athene was hiervoor gelukkig niet nodig .

Wow! What an amazing experience we had in Greece with Marianna as our guide. We learned so much with the tours and had time to eat well and enjoy some shopping and down time.
There's no way I could have done this trip cheaper on my own and we sediment would have missed out on the historical information.

This was our first visit to Greece and we wanted to see many places over a few days. This was an excellent tour. Our group began as a group of 6 which was brilliant, and 21 for the last two days. Our guide Marianna Tsigaridou provided sophisticated and insightful commentary that helped us to connect the locations, the history and the legends of the place - we were all fully engaged at all times. The combination of the sites and their associated museums was a powerful way of learning.The hotels that we used we of high quality - each very different from the other, but all with generous and comfortable rooms. Breakfasts in each were excellent and we were able to enjoy Greek breakfasts.

What an amazing 4 days. The tour guide picked us up at our hotel as was previously planned, and we were then brought to the main office where we were joined by the rest of the travellers. There were 12 of us on this tour at the beginning which was nice because it was easy to get to know everyone. I'm not sure if we were just lucky, but we had a great group. Our tour guides name was Youille. She was just amazing, and very knowledgeable. There wasn't really any point in the trip where my wife and I felt bored.
On the 3rd day, we were joined by another group and at that point, the bus was now full. I'm not going to spend much time talking about all the stops, however, I will mention how this trip is absolutely worth it. The accommodations were great, the meals were fantastic, and all the visited locations were something special to see.

My wife & I are 70 y.o. & have traveled extensively. Previously we have rented a car & booked our own accommodation. This was the first 'booked tour' we have been on & we will probably do future travels by booking tours, because it was so much easier. We were collected at our hotel, we relaxed while the bus driver negotiated the journey. Our entry to sights was made easy by our guide collecting entry tickets, shepherding us thru the entry points & providing history & details of the places we visited along our journey. When we arrived at the hotel our our accommodation was already arranged & out bags taken to our room.
Having a competent & knowledgeable guide was much easier & more informative than reading the information panels, trying to remember & then forgetting most of it.
Our guide Marianna Tsigaridou was excellent. She was very competent & patient dealing with all questions & problems anyone on the tour had.
My only negative is that we elected 'Standard Accommodation'. Two of the hotels were fine, but the hotel in we stayed at in Delphi was not. The staff were fine but the hotel was old & below the standards of the other hotels in Olympia & Kalambaka.
Having a competent & knowledgeable guide was much easier & more informative than reading the information panels, trying to remember & then forgetting most of it.
Our guide Marianna Tsigaridou was excellent. She was very competent & patient dealing with all questions & problems anyone on the tour had.

ガイドのMariannaさんは、知識が豊富で、聞き取りやすい英語で話してくださったので、ギリシャの遺跡にまつわる説明が良く分かり、最高の遺跡巡りの旅になりました。
遺跡では、主な説明の後、フリータイムがあり、興味のある箇所を見て回ったり、写真を撮ったり、思う存分楽しめました。
また、博物館にも寄って、有名な彫像を効率良く見て回ってくださり、大変満足しました。
同行した各国の旅行者の方々もいい人ばかりで、私のつたない英会話にも付き合ってくださり、大変良い雰囲気の中、旅を楽しむことができました。

There were four of us who went on this tour together. From the minute we got on the bus, we knew we were in for a wonderful adventure. The sights were all so interesting, made more so by our amazing tour guide. Marianna, an Athens native, was well educated regarding the history, art and architecture of the sites we visited. She was a wealth of information, and was able to answer questions thoroughly. Our group was small and quite congenial, and Marianna fostered that spirit.
Our bus driver, George, was excellent at maneuvering the bus through difficult spots. Overall an experience we will long remember.

Our guide Stavros was excellent where he took a lot of effort to explain in detail the history of each site. Also Zachary is a very good driver navigating the small mountainous roads especially around Meteora. The hotels were fine, value for money.
