We really enjoyed our walking tour with Effie this week. We started at 8 am which was perfect since it’s been so hot in Greece. A driver picked us up from our ship/port and we met Effie who took us on a fun and educational walking tour. Coffee was included in the tour and it was a perfect break to sit and relax for a few. Our 12 year old said she thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Effie took time to ask her questions about Greek mythology and educate all of us about the history and tales of Greece. I felt that the price of this tour was more than reasonable and less than that offered by our cruise line.

Amazing 2 days tour experience !
Extremely professional agency (Be a Greek) and incredible italian speaker guide (Alexia).
The agency guys called me one month before my trip to accomplish an assessment about our family desires and objectives. Then they tailored a personalized experience that shared with us a couple of weeks before.
The actual tour definetely exceeded our expectations !

We had a great tour with Maria(Martina). She provided us with a great background on Athenian history and how the Greeks contributed to Western Civilization. Additionally, we spent time exploring some of the hidden gems, such as the Plaka neighborhood.
We also had time to take some Instagram worthy photos of the highlights of Athens, such as the Acropolis, the Agora and neighborhood's in Athens.
Our guide was knowledgeable, patient and pleasant during the tour. She also customized the tour to suit our needs, so that we would see something different, as we had conducted a tour the day before.
Highly recommend this tour and Maria as your guide.

Siamo una famiglia di 5 persone adulte. Abbiamo deciso di trascorrere una settimana culturale in Grecia e ad Atene dal 08 al 15 aprile, come da anni facciamo: ogni anno una meta diversa per il mondo. Quando organizziamo un viaggio, da alcuni anni siamo soliti avvalerci dell’esperienza di GetYourGuide per conoscere al meglio i paesi e le città che visitiamo, possibilmente con guida che parli italiano. Abbiamo scelto questo tour privato a piedi nel cuore di Atene con Be a Greek, con guida in lingua italiana: è stata un’esperienza veramente piacevole che ha soddisfatto appieno le nostre aspettative. La guida Dimitrios parlava un italiano perfetto (ha studiato Medicina in Italia, a Bologna) e ci ha presentato i siti archeologici, i monumenti ed i più recenti luoghi della storia di Atene come da programma. Dimitrios è molto preparato, ci ha coinvolti ed ha saputo trasmetterci il suo affetto ed il suo rispetto per questi luoghi: le 4 ore sono trascorse senza che ce ne accorgessimo. E’ stato come visitare Atene con un amico. Questa è un’esperienza da fare per chi visita Atene.
