Great guide, beautiful ride. The sunset at Cape Sounion is not to be missed. Plus, it was really nice to take a ride along that part of the coast from Athens south to the southern most tip of Attica. Plenty of time to have dinner or a drink before the sunset. Turns out we really didn’t use the extra two days of hop on hop off, so we would not have needed the combo tour (though it was a great deal.)
Our guide, Charis, was exceptionally knowledgeable and actually excited to share lots and lots of information about Greek history with us on the ride. This was not part of the formal tour nor expected. But it sure was interesting!

Fantastic tour and the best guide to explain history and instructions.
Comfy bus.
Fantastic opportunity to watch the sunset and chill out with a drink at the restaurant at the Temple area.
Highly recommend this.
We used the buses - yellow and blue- over 2 days with the ticket and they took us to the places we wanted to see.
Easy to collect at the Square.

We got a private tour with the Hop On Hop Off company because the group one was nearly sold out. The young lady working for them took the initiative to contact a driver for us at the last minute. We had 7 people in our party so they sent a 7 passenger van and English speaking driver. He was wonderful. It was only 5 Euros more per person and ir was worth it. The company was wonderful.

The bus trip out to Cape Sounion was beautiful. Charalampos was an excellent guide. He had a great sense of humor and engaged the tourists by quizzing them and playing games. The hop on hop off bus was an added benefit. I enjoy these kinds of tours because you can learn about the city and get off any time and get back on after a meal break or shopping.

Enjoyed hop on hop off bus but the highlight was the excellent sunset trip to Temple of Poseidon . Lovely scenery on way to Cape Sounain

Great service to get around the city. Stops near all the tourist highlights and walkable to tons of shops, restaurants, etc.

The Sunio tour was very beautiful. The coach bus was comfortable and air conditioned and the views spectacular. The pickup time and location was communicated to us very well. Our guide Charis was very knowledgeable and helpful. By the time he got to the back of the bus with headsets he didn't have enough for everyone so we had to share them. It was harder to hear him speaking with only one headphone. It would be better if there were enough headphones for everyone on the bus.
The price included a hop on hop off ticket for the day. I do not recommend this experience as a way to see the city. It was very hot on top with a small covered portion that had didn't have any breeze due to the windows. The downstairs did not have AC. It was very hot and due to the traffic congestion in Athens the bus was stationary more than it was moving. It was very crowded on the bus and we had to ask for the headphones to hear the tour explained as they weren't handed out or visible when you entered the bus. Most of the audio stations were not working and the audio explanation was not in synchronized with the sights. . The driver was very rude to a lady who couldn't find any headphones. We lasted 4 stops then got off.
I recommend the Sunio sunset tour portion only.

Great support and help. Well organized tour with good hints how to manage schedule to make the most out of it. Sights of Athens delivers with their tours and services all around and been a pillar of our Athens trip which made it most enjoyable.
We booked several tours but no tour was pushed on to us. Sales personal is advising and helping to make your time in Athens memorable.
