We had a great time touring around Athens. Sebastian is a great guide. The ride was comfortable with a Mercedes. The places and views are beautiful and amazing. The trip includes a nice seafood dinner that we could not finish all :). Sebastian is very professional and thoughtful. He loves his job which is awesome. We highly recommend it!

We had an amazing day with George. He was extremely professional and provided us with important information at each stop. The highlight of our trip was Meteora and then to end the day, we had a fabulous meal. A+ we couldn’t be happier with our experience and having George as our guide.

we wake up early and drive straight to meteora, allowing us to sleep as Sebastien our driver drove. we saw all the monasteries and he recommended 2 monastery that were easier to climb to see from inside. Took a lunch break and off to thermopolyee and Delphi. Paced nicely for kids to do without getting tired. Had free cold water, snacks and wifi to keep them busy for the drive. We reached athens around 7:30 and had a grand dinner. The tour sound long and we are not morning people but with breaks and ability to sleep in the long spacious van we thoroughly enjoyed it. we were 4 people 2 adults and kids 10 and 12 the price is reasonable considering it saved us a day and repeating the drive up and down with delphi and meteora.

Having only a short time in Athens I was finding the struggle of having to sacrifice two of those days to do a stock standard day tour of Delphi and the same for Meteora.
Thankfully I came across this company (Theodore’s Travel) through Viator and they were able to do both in the one day which is exactly what I wanted plus having the added bonus of visiting Thermopylae.
We were fortunate to have Sebastian as our driver guide and he was first of all very prompt in picking us up from the hotel and very welcoming upon first introductions even making a quick pit stop to a local bakery so we could grab some breakfast for the road which much appreciated.
On our driver Sebastian was happy to answer any questions we had about Greece/Mythology and gave some really in-depth knowledge and facts about the places we were visiting through out the day.
Our first stop was the monasteries of Meteora and the bonus of being in car compared to a big bus was that we were able to just pull over (in safe zones) for a quick picture if we saw potential for a great Insta shot (which I can tell you know are abundant on this and will be hard to choose which to post) being in a car compared to a bus also allowed for our driver to pull up to the entrance of most places which was very convenient.
We then stopped in at a local Gyros shop to grab some lunch to eat on the way out to our next stop Thermopylae which was absolutely delicious (having insider knowledge of places to eat like a local is an absolute win in my book, especially if you want a full immersive experience)
Once at Thermopylae Sebastian took us to the thermal water (river) which interesting and then was on to our next highlight of visiting the place where King Leonidas and the 300 Spartans confronted the Persians and sadly died.
Our last official stop was Delphi which is one of those places which I have always dreamed of going to being the mythology buff I am and had ample amount of time to walk through the museum and take in all the exhibits on display before continuing on to the archeological site it self where again we had plenty of time to wonder through the site to take a heap of photos and really enjoy being in the moment.
As we headed back to Athens Sebastian took us to a look out overseeing the town of Arachova which overlooked the town and the beautiful valley below and surround mountains (absolutely beautiful)
Once back in Athens we were taken to a local restaurant where we sat alfresco amongst the locals taking in the atmosphere whilst enjoying the biggest meal/feast we have ever had in our lives, it literally just kept coming out until the point where we had to say we were full and no more please! Haha
Lastly, my partner and I have been fortunate enough to have travelled all over the world and thus been on many a day tour and being a travel agent myself for Australia’s largest travel agency for over a decade I have experienced a lot when it comes to travel and I can hands down say that this was the best value for money tour you can do in Athens. Yes, to some it may be expensive for what we did but as I have mentioned above you get a semi flexible, full day, private guided tour with local insider knowledge which in my opinion is priceless and a delicious feats of a meal for dinner plus refreshments through out the day.
Thanks again our new friend Sebastian! We hope one day that you get to Texas and maybe a detour via Australia to visit us 😉

You see, it's not only about the personality of a person but how this specific person wants to serve when he has to face clients such as you. Theodore was awesome, absolutely 5 stars!!! He was extremely knowledgeable, incredibly polite, and funny. It was very entertaining to learn all the stories about Greek Mythology & the historical significance of all the sites we visited on the way to Meteora.
This tour allows you to see and visit all the different parts of Thermopylae, Meteora, and Delphi!! What a beautiful and insightful trip!!! Don't waste any more time, book this tour with Theodore!!!
I'll add some more of what this tour is, your driver will pick you up from your hotel desk with a smile, be in an all-black very nice Mercedes Sedan or Van, speak perfect English, and will explain exactly what to expect for the day. In the car will be cold AC, Cold water bottles, snacks, good music, and a secure place to leave your valuables while you tour the Monasteries in Meteora or at Delphi. Along the way to sites, Theodore will answer literally any questions you have, whether that be historical, or something simple as asking for a cool place to eat or drink, don't have questions? Ok, your driver will be giving you an incredible explanation of the history and significance of the sites you are about to visit, or you can just ride in silence.
He is preparing you, giving you tips on which order to see things, what to look for and what it means, and what to avoid. At every site, we went to we fully understood the history prior to entering. When you arrive they have perfect spots right in front of the entrance to go in and when you're done, he will be at the meeting point with the car cold and ready with cold water, which is greatly appreciated in the Greece heat after walking, trust me. Want to stop for a snack, you can, tired and need a break, take one, need a Freddo Capuccino to recharge, they know where to go. It's your tour, not some big bus full of annoying tourists haha.
What this is not, these drivers/guides CANNOT go into the sites with you. It is illegal for them to join you as the country requires a different type of tour guide certification to actually enter the sites. At the entrance of each site are "Certified Tour guides" and they usually want $150-200 to walk you through the site and tell me a bit more than my driver already told me. Not worth it to me. Ask Theodore before or after, I can almost promise you he will have the answer. His knowledge is incredible.
We took the private tour to be by ourselves, which was perfect. Theodore was waiting for us with a smile at the end of every stop! Our experience was absolutely 5 stars and I would definitely recommend Theodore as a tour guide again. Thank you so much for a great day, Theodore!!!

The tour we booked from Theodore was one of the highlights of our experience in continental Greece. The tour is a mix of feelings: be it the holy Meteora, the impressive Thermopylae, the mythical Delphi or the moving Distomo, you can't be indifferent. Sebastian was one of the best tour guides we've ever had: so kind, willing to help, attentive and easygoing! I highly recommend Theodore Travel to everyone. Thank you so much!

The best decision I made while planning my trip to Athens was choosing this tour. I was worried that this tour will be exhausting, it was not!
Theodore is an excellent guide, respectful, pleasant, very knowledgeable, generous and professional. He went the extra mile making sure the tour is customized to our needs and we are comfortable and enjoying the trip.
His knowledge of the sites we visited as well as the history and geography of Greece in general is impeccable. The information he gave us before entering the sites was accurate and more than enough to discover them. He was fully equipped with cold beverages, snacks and even had motion sickness gums. The dinner he offered us at the end of the tour was delectable. He was able to accommodate my diet restrictions, again it was superb and very tasteful. Overall the tour was very well thought out, well planned and efficient.
Because of how comfortable we felt with Theodore, I asked him to arrange all my transportation in Athens for the rest of my trip (to the airport, from the ferry, to the airport again...) and the transportation he arranged for us was reliable, punctual, clean, and comfortable.
Also at the end of the trip he gave us sculptures of Greek gods, handmade, crafted delicately with excellent details.
Overall, I highly recommend this trip. Theodore will be my first contact when organizing my future trips to Greece. A+++ service!

Teddy is an excellent guide and driver. He knows everything around and he was great and fun to be Around. We felt completely safe. He took us anywhere we wanted to go. The lunch he fed us at the end of each day was awesome. If we come back to the Athens area Teddy is our only guide!

Well, if you read the previous reviews, you don’t need me to repeat all the wonderful things we got to learn about Theodore and his services. He is hands down the best tour guide and drive in Greece. We used three of his tours and visited the most significant historic places in the southern , northern and western Greece. The tours are not cheap but considering the number of places you cover in a day and the quality of service you receive from him, they’re of phenomenal deals. Theodore has smartly designed these tours so his clients would efficiently utilize their valuable time in Greece and maximize the number of places they could visit. He is punctual, courteous, knowledgeable about greek history and extremely passionate about his country and culture. He was very patient with us taking pictures and never rushed us despite going over time. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable time. It’s worth mentioning that he offered help in regards to finding a place to do COVID test on our last day in Greece. While visiting Delphi Archeological site, he made some phone calls and found a pharmacy close by so we could get our test done. Another day, in Mycenae, my son dropped his cellphone before getting into the van from a store on the road buying ice cream and noticed it missing after 15 minutes of driving. Theodore, called the store using the receipt to see if they have found it and when they said no, he drove all the way back with no fuss to find the phone and to our utter happiness, we found the iPhone on the side of the road where my son had entered his car. We were so lucky!
In conclusion, have no qualm about booking any of his tours. They would be the best, most convenient and memorable tours you’ll have in Greece.
P.S. Dinners were amazing with great selections of local dishes. The thoughtful gifts of greek statues for adults and books for kids relevant to our tour were great parting event and lasting memories of our trip to Greece and our tours.

I visited Greece with my family for the first time. We were so fortunate that we had Theodoros as our Tour guide. He is The Best!
We visited The Temple of Poseidon in Cape Sounion, Cornith Canal, Mycenae, Sparta, Olympia, Thermapole, Delphi, and Meteora in two and half days.
Theodoros is very knowledgeable, kind, personable, patient, caring, and punctual.
The beautiful Greece has a great ancient history and requires a few weeks to visit all the places but we were able to see most of the highlights in a short period of time.
You are in a trustworthy hands when he drives you in the mountains.
He gives you plenty of time to take pictures and provides you with a lot of information while driving.
Theodoros treats you like a VIP!
I highly recommend him to my friends and family.
