Our tour guide was just a driver. First of all he went to the wrong address even though we gave them the name of our hotel.
He didn't drop us off at the entrance so we had to walk a distance to get to the entrance. He was waiting for us at the exit.
He did stop at the Corinth Crossing Canal and provided us an explanation of the canal.
There were no other stops or drive by to sire other sites in Olympic.
The description of this tour should be a driver only and not a tour guide.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that we did not meet your expectations.
Our product page explicitly states, "Our drivers are not official tour guides, but they are knowledgeable and can provide fascinating commentary in fluent English. Although they will not enter the sites with you, they can answer your questions about the places you visit with this tour.".
In addition, you could optionally book a licensed tour guide to accompany you to the sites, but we did not receive such a request. This is also explicitly stated on our product page.
Regarding the route, the stops are described in detail and there is no other stop between the Corinth Canal and Olympia. The driver has offered an extra stop at the village “Kalo Nero, PO 24500” on your way to Olympia, but as we were informed, you did not consider it necessary, unless he would like to stop to rest.
The site of Ancient Olympia is very big and you have to walk to the entrance since the route is pedestrian and vehicles are forbidden. Only civilian protection and people with disabilities are allowed to get to the ticket office by vehicle. You can check on Google Street view.
About the pick-up location, we were confused due to multiple numbering on this road, we are very sorry. The vehicle was already there waiting for you at the wrong place. However, we immediately contacted you to find a solution and pick you up as soon as possible. The 19 minutes pick-up delay did not affect the total duration of our tour.
Concluding, our opinion is that if you had read carefully the details of the product you purchased, your review would be more accurate and would have helped other travelers since most of your comments are already answered by the product description. However, even from unfair reviews, some points could help us get better and we will continue to do so, to provide best-in-class service.

This was the most fun I’ve had in a tour ever. For the first time in all my years of traveling, I had the same tour guide in two separate tours. I happened to have THE MAN Notis as my tour guide again. With that being said, we were already very well acquainted from the first tour I had with him earlier that week; so I just asked a couple of questions for my notes and then we spent the rest of the way talking about so many different topics. Do know that this is a 3.5 hour drive to Ancient Olympia from Athens (and another 3.5 back). Please keep that in mind. When we drove there, the drive felt very short since we spent it talking. As for Ancient Olympia, that’s definitely a must-do if you are in Greece. It is where the Olympic Games were held for over a millennia, and also home to the famous Temple of Zeus that used to house his 12 meter statue (one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World). Also both museums are exceptional and have well preserved pieces of history that were excavated and salvaged. On our way back, I just connected my phone to the car’s bluetooth and we jammed out the whole way back to Athens. It was tons of fun! Highly recommend this tour for solo travelers, couples, or small groups. Ask for Notis, and you will have an amazing experience!

Our driver George was excellent. He was right on time waiting for us at our hotel. The drive to and from Olympia was enjoyable as he was full of knowledge of Greece and the history surrounding the sights we saw. The lunch at the end of the day was very delicious and we enjoyed George's company during transit.
I would highly recommend this trip if you want to see and experience Olympia and the Peloponnesian Peninsula.

The weather was good and we enjoyed the sceneries while on the road. I have learnt of Olympia since I was a kid and I have fulfilled one of my lifetime dreams by coming here. I should also offer my praise to our guide, Panos, who has extensive knowledge of the trip and we also exchanged cultural and political views which added more meaning to the trip. Overall this is one of my best day tours.

Our driver, Panos, was passionate and knowledgable about the history my adult daughter and I came to Greece to experience. I learned more during the car ride than in all of my prior history classes put together. Overall, a great experience.

Our driver, Kostadinos, was excellent! He drove us on different routes going to and returning from Olympia so we could see more countryside and gave us much information about the areas we passed through. He also went out of his way to take us to the archeological site of Eleusis when we were passing through Elefsina and expressed our interest in visiting it. He was extremely friendly, efficient, courteous and knowledgeable as well as being a safe driver. We would love to take another tour with him.

In mid Sept. 2022 my wife and I visited ancient Olympia, in the north-western Peloponnese. This site, nearly 5 hours from Athens, has always been high on our list of must-see Greek attractions. My Athens Transfers, located via Trip Advisor, and a tour operator in Athens, arranged a way for us to visit in just one day, without renting a vehicle or navigating on unfamiliar roads. That was the key. But the terms and conditions of the arrangement (cancellation policy, payments timing, etc.) were also easier than alternatives.
Our Driver, nick-named ‘Notis’, was a blessing. He picked us up at our hotel appropriately early. He drove us, both safely and quickly, in a very comfortable sedan with great A/C, arriving before noon. We stopped twice for photos, at the Corinth canal and for a brief bio break, and arrived with a much improved knowledge of modern Greece, narrated by Notis, as well.
Here is just one of Notis's fascinating stories that we had never heard before.
In the winter of 1823-1824, Daniel Webster, then a young US Congressman from New Hampshire, and later a titan of the US Senate, made an impassioned oration in the US House of Representatives on the topic of Greek Independence from the Ottoman empire. Webster pointed out in detail the many intellectual debts owed by the young American state, to the Greek invention of Democracy itself, approximately 23 centuries earlier.
Thank you, Notis, for bringing so many proud episodes of history, Greece's and ours, to the attention of two elderly tourists. And getting us home happy and safe at day’s end, too.

A long trip 3 1/2 hours drive each way but rewarded with world class museums and beautiful scenery along the way. Driver, Notis, was professional, safe and very accommodating. Picked us up at the cruise ship with out carry on luggage and delivered us to our hotel after the excursion. Well worth it if you have the time.

Our driver George was amazing! He went out of his way to explain the different regions of Athens and the history behind each on the way to Olympia and back. On the way there, George stopped by the famous Canal and explained how it was created and what it does today.
George made sure to take stops along the way to ensure we were comfortable. He even provided us with a surprise at the end and purchased authentic Greek desserts for us! I can’t recommend this tour enough. We saw so much of Athens on the way there and back, which we would have never seen if we didn’t book this tour.
