Palace of Knossos Audio tour good!
The overall site & visit was pretty amazing! The Queen’s area & some other areas were closed which was not noted at the entrance. The audio tour directions. therefore we’re sometimes difficult to follow.
My friends especially enjoyed the written sections included in the audio tour. They felt these were more informative than the written plaques at the site.

Ótimo tour num sítio incrível.

Sítio arqueológico incrível e que ajuda a dar contexto e a criar uma ligação emocional à civilização minóica antes da visita (também ela "obrigatória") ao Museu Arqueológico de Heraclião.
Necessita de algum tipo de guia, mas é fácil contratar um à entrada (pelo menos em finais de Maio). Nós optamos por este audio guide que serviu perfeitamente a sua função. Notamos que os guias das outras pessoas davam ligeiramente mais informações, mas sinceramente para nós o áudio guide foi mais do que suficiente. I

Archeological wonder
It is an excellent site. The audio tour was very informative. There were sections that were closed off and thus the audio tour did not match. This was a little frustrating.

Recommended for a good dose of Minoan history

You've heard about it - if you've come to Crete you have to check this famous site out. It gets lots of visitors but the site is large so it didn't feel too crowded once the entry ticket is purchased. Lots of fascinating history and entertaining peacocks!

Knossos war interessant, aber da Teile des Palastes und der gekauften Tour nicht zugänglich waren konnte man der Audiotour nicht kohärent folgen. Auch waren die Wegeerklärungen teils nicht immer so einfach.

This is a warning to fellow travellers: Don't book this experience. It is a scam. We booked this earlier this week on 27th March 2023, received our digital tickets with QR codes, thought everything was fine, then turned up at Knossos Palace and were refused entry because our tickets had already been redeemed by someone else. The official Knossos Palace ticket office looked up our ticket code and found that it was part of a set of about 30 tickets that had been purchased in bulk by Clio Muse Tours in November 2022. These ticket codes had already been redeemed. It is an incredibly common experience, they said. So don't trust this company. The audio tour did work, but we wasted money and had to repurchase tickets at both Knossos Palace and the Heraklion Archaeological Museum. And you can't even get support from GetYourGuide, only ring Clio Muse Tours, a Greek number, and pay international calling charges. A scam. Avoid this experience.

Well worth a visit
An interesting tourist site. Well worth a visit. Parking is a challenge however manageable. Definitely worth buying online tickets before with an audio guide. We are out of season and the queue was still an hour long. With e-tickets we walked straight in

Must-see on Crete
For all those interested in History, Archeology and Greece Myths this is a must-see site. Yes, over 100-year old “excavations and preservation” works conducted by Sir Arthur Evans are controversial today, but the is where you see this is not black and white. The tour guide (Poppy ?) was very knowledgeable and professional. It’s not easy to care for a buss of people in 90 degrees and share every detail of this archeological site, but she did it!

Deberían indicar los precios en función de la edad

Si tienes menos de 25 años no compres este servicio, puesto que la entrada es gratuita. Aquí no te informa de eso para cobrarte tengas la edad que tengas.
Por otro lado la entrada anticipada no vale para nada, apenas hay colas.

Nous y sommes allées vers 10h et avions réserver nos billets. Vu la queue à l’entrée lors de notre arrivée, je confirme que nous avons bien fait.
Endroits sympa et très interessant. Dommage que certains endroits sont actuellement fermé pour rénovation.
