Ascent of Mount Ida or Mount Psiloritis in 2h30. We are regular hikers but not necessarily for an elevation gain of this importance i.e. 950 m for a finish at 2450m. It's a fabulous thing to do.
Downhill more difficult for me because you have to "block the knees" and it is less comfortable.
Provide warm clothes for the top even when you start at 30* below.
Beautiful treck to discover.

the trip didn't happen due to the mountain being too snowy (i guess too dangeroues)
the post should be removed or some label applied saying something like "this trip is only available during summer" so that people don't book unnecessarily

I travelled to Crete just to hike this mountain and all other tour companies refused to help me except for Creta Trekking! They went above and beyond to help me be able to summit this mountain before I left crete. I am beyond grateful for my tour guide he was hilarious, kind, and very well trained for these hikes and knowledge of the area. Saw a ton of mountain goats and had a delicious picnic at the summit. I will always remember this experience and very grateful for this tour company! I would recommend to anyone. I did it as a solo female travelled and felt completely safe and had an amazing experience. The tour guide picked me up from the bus stop and waited for my bus with me to return to my area of Crete. 100/10! Also need to mention the fresh local bread and goat cheese that was included in our picnic!

Après une belle expérience en quad nous avons décidé de renouveler l’expérience avec notre guide Michalis.
Nous avons dons décidés de conquérir le Psiloritis le plus haut sommet de Crète à 2456.m.
Un Treck difficile mais ouvert à tous, penser à bien vous chausser.A l’arrivée une vue imprenable sur les montagnes crétoises.
Arrivée au sommet nous avons eu droit à un pic-nic..
Si vous souhaitez faire cette sortie en famille je vous conseille vivement de faire appel à Michalis il est très professionnel.
