Our tour guide- Vas was awesome and went over the top to make sure we had an excellent time. He was so informative & oversaw our lunch on the beach that was delicious & authentic greek food!!

Fabulous day ! Nikolai was fabulous and gave us a great day at the beach and pictures at Balos. Lunch at the beach was outstanding . I did t want to leave the water the sand was amazing. Highly recommend! It’s a bit rocky up there and riding in the Landrover made for a comfortable ride. Definitely go with Chania Adentures !

The views were amazing on the drive and views from above at Balos. Beautiful beach. My sunbed with umbrellas was in full sun and the views are obstructed by the cabanas which are directly in front of you. For $170(ish), I feel they should get the guests the cabanas which were only 50 euros. I paid extra while there to get one. The lunch was good but not great. There was a lot of talk in the car about local honey. An opportunity to taste that at the restaurant would have been a nice perk.
Also the jeep is not "luxury." Just a basic jeep with 3 rows and 6 people jammed in. One couple didn't get to sit together bc one person is required to sit up front.
Overall, the trip was good, but not excellent for the price paid.

We are sure that the tour is not overpriced as the other 99% of the reviewers believe and keep in mind that the 25% is the broker commission from where you booked the tour. We use the biggest 7 seater 4wd vehicles in Europe (Land Rover Discovery and it is not just a basic jeep as you mentioned. Also the petrol price is Greece is 8 dollars per gallon and it is not as cheap is in the USA).There is no description on our web page and on Tripadvisor/Viator that we use Luxury vehicles. We write that we use comfortable 4wd vehicles. Talking about the cabanas, the price in October is 50 euro but from July 1st till September 15th the price is 100 to 120 euro. It's not possible to include cabanas in the price, but if someone likes to be on a cabana have the option as you did. The sun is moving and there are moments in full sun even you are under an umbrella. Honey served for breakfast but we offer lunch. We advertise it because it's a charecteristical local product. Sorry, but I can't understand your way of thinking.

Our small group tour guide, Nickolas was friendly, shared entertaining stories and had a good sense of humor. By the end of the trip, Nickolas was our friend! The views of Balos Beach were amazing. We enjoyed lounging and walking Falassarna Beach. The turquoise color of the water was incredible. Lunch at the taverna was delicious.

This tour is a great way to experience the stunning landscapes while also enjoying some relaxing hours at a beautiful beach. We were picked up at our hotel in a Land Rover, and the ride itself was quite an adventure! Our friendly driver, who was also our guide, had a fun, fast-paced driving style, especially on the off-road sections, which made the trip even more exciting. At no point did it feel unsafe.
The guide was extremely attentive, always trying to anticipate our every need. The included lunch at the beach restaurant was excellent and very generous in portion size.
All in all, this is a highly recommended tour that is both fun and well worth the time!

Thanks for the wonderful tour.
It was just the right decision to experience this tour with you, with two great guides in two comfortable Landrovers. You can tell that you love Crete and Chania and have so much background knowledge, about the history, culture, country and people of Crete.
The two excursion destinations are worth their trip, with the viewpoint of the beautiful Bay of Balos, then the onward journey to the beautiful beach Falasarna, with a great 3 hour stay that lacked nothing and the subsequent extensive typical dishes.
We are 10 friends and can highly recommend the tour to anyone.
Thanks again to you both for the unforgettable tour.

We had a fantastic day out. Our guide was friendly and enthusiastic. The views of Balos beach were phenomenal. We then went on to Falassarna Beach and relaxed on the beach for a few hours before having a delicious lunch.
My best part of the day was feeding the goats and the off road driving!
Would highly recommend this trip. Thank you.

I highly recommend this tour! Our guide, Stavros, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He shared fascinating insights into the local culture and history, along with great tips for other activities to explore during our stay. We had the chance to experience the breathtaking landscapes of northwestern Crete, making several scenic stops along the way. The tour ended perfectly with a relaxing visit to a beautiful beach, followed by a delicious traditional Cretan meal. Overall, it was a wonderful mix of adventure, culture, and relaxation.

This was our first tour experience, and we choose to visit the Balos Lagoon and Falassarna Beach with Nassos. Everything was perfectly organised and we spent a lovely lazy day, with great landscapes, delicious lunch, and plenty of memories.
