10 Km a piedi sulle pendici del vulcano. Partenza da Fira fino ad Oia, una vista spettacolare sul mare, sull'isola vulcanica al centro di questa baia.
Sono state due ore di camminata ben spesi. Ho potuto godere non solo di un panorama mozzafiato, ma ho potuto, in questo modo visitare un bel pò di paesini arroccati su queste pendici, alle stupende strutture alberghiere con la piscina che si affacciano sul mare.
Mi sono chiesta, in alcuni contesti, come si sarebbe potuta difendere una certa privacy visto che la gente (come me) ci passava davanti soprattutto in alta stagione.
Sono state due ore di camminata ben spesi. Ho potuto godere non solo di un panorama mozzafiato, ma ho potuto, in questo modo visitare un bel pò di paesini arroccati su queste pendici, alle stupende strutture alberghiere con la piscina che si affacciano sul mare.

Loved our walk with Catherine around the caldera.She was an excellent tour guide. She’s fun and has great energy. She’s not one of those tour guys that goes into painful details. She gives highlights and snippets along the way which were perfect for my teenage kids who easily get bored with too much detail.
Also the hike is long (6 miles) and can be hot, but don’t get scared about doing it. If you can do an exercise class at a gym, then you can do this hike. Go and enjoy it. It’ll be worth your time.

Had a great time on this hike!! Beautiful paths and views. Our guide Kathryn was amazing and so knowledgable of the surrounding areas. Highly reccomended to anyone looking for something active to do in Santorini.

Our tour guide was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and very patient. The scenery was stunning, there were tons of wonderful picture moments, and the weather was great. I struggled on this hike. I didn’t realize it was a 6 mile hike that would take 4 hrs. The terrain requires hiking boots in my opinion. If you wear anything else, your feet will suffer for it. The terrain can be extremely steep, the rocks and be slippery and the stairs can be brutal. Don’t do this hike if you’re not in shape, you have good knees and flexibility ankles. Hiking boots will help with the ankles. There are some parts of the hike that have a really high elevation so if you’re afraid of heights this may not be the hike for you. I’m happy I did the hike but knowing what I know now and my physical ability I wouldn’t have done it. I was too fat and out of shape to do this hike without a lot of pain and suffering along the path which meant I slowed down the group. Be honest with your physical ability and just know this is a hard hike. Period.

Our day with Katherine will be the most memorable of our trip to Greece. She began with a fabulous smile and laugh. She is knowledgeable, thorough and very attentive to each guest. The hike included fabulous views, gorgeous towns, donkey trails and lively conversation. We have asked her to be our travel partner❤️

Absolutely amazing hike! Our guide, Katherine, met us promptly at the cable car with a bag of refreshments for our trip. She was very knowledgable, her stories were very interesting and her photography skills are amazing! We highly recommend this tour and tour guide.

LOVED this experience! The views were breathtaking and our tour guide Catherine was so fun and a wealth of knowledge. Learned so much more than if I did this on my own. Will say it's a real hike, so it gets tough at parts, but very doable.

Our fantastic guide, Catherine, picked us up from our hotel and took us to Fira where we started our hike to Oia. She gave us some really interesting facts about the island along the way and was very friendly and happy to answer all our questions. We were a very small group which also added to the experience. The walk is challenging at times as you negotiate the caldera path but Catherine is very conscious of everyone's safety and doesn't rush you at all. The views are stunning and when you get to Oia you can choose either to stay or if you want to go back a driver is waiting for you. Highly recommend doing this if you are a good walker.

This is a spectacular walk and our guide, Katherine, was truly topnotch -- friendly, knowledgeable, caring, with great communication skills. We loved the hike and can't wait to go back and do it again with Katherine and our adult children!

My partner and I loved this experience. We were on a cruise of the Greek Isles. This was the favorite thing we did all week. First, Kathrin, the guide, is lovely. She was waiting for us when we arrived in Fira and she gave us a little bag with two bottles of water and a Greek bread/pretzel as a snack. She was so interesting. She taught us a lot about the history of Santorini, including fascinating information about how Santorini has formed geologically.
The walk/hike was breathtaking. To me, Santorini's magic lies in its natural beauty. This walk/hike gave us a chance to experience the beauty for several hours.
The walk is long (four hours) so it is best for people who like to walk longish distances. We would not have done it on our own. We are so thankful to have done this with Kathrin. Thank you!
Note: Santorini is hot in the summer. I think we each drank 1.5 liters of water during the walk. I recommend bringing a good amount of water.

Hi, I am staying in Imrovigli. Can I walk to the meeting point or can you pick me up please. I am looking at the 24th August please, 1 person. Also if our flight is cancelled and we cannot travel after 19th August can I get a full refund. It is unlikely to be cancelled but I would I don't want to pay for a trip that I cannot take. Good Afternoon,
We are coming to Santorini and I want to enquire about the 24th for the early morning tour. I am staying in Imerovigli? If you do pick up as part of the price do you do a lot of pick ups before the tour starts. Just trying to get an idea of total capacity as I am interested in a small group tour as well.
Sorry for all the questions.
Lastly can I get back easily afterwards, do you drop us back to our accommodation.
