Cercavamo un'esperienza da fare a Santorini e ci è stato proposto questo tour.
La gita dura tutto il giorno quindi è un po' stancante ma ne vale la pena perché si scoprono dei bellissimi posti e si possono fare delle foto stupende.
La compagnia fa il giro degli hotel con un bus e ci si ritrova tutti al porto. Le tempistiche nelle varie tappe del tour sono ben organizzate, si ha sempre il tempo necessario. Un po' lunga l'attesa per vedere il tramonto a Oia ma la cittadina è molto carina e visitando i negozi tipici il tempo passa in fretta. Anche il ritorno è ben organizzato, ci sono diversi bus con tutte le destinazioni per tornare in hotel. Guida molto simpatica e competente.

Wonderful boat tour on volcanic island, Tirasia and sunset in Oia. Well organized with lovely lady guide.

Great trip, start with a sail to the volcano and you can disembark and walk to the top for a good view (5 euro extra)
You then sail to another island where you can jump of the boat and have a swim.
on to a third island for some dinner and swimming, then back to the port for coach transfer to Oia for the sunset.

Okay, so first of all the tour is a great bang for the buck!
You get a lot for your money.
The downside is that the boat was a little crowded and some people had to go standing up.
The volcano hike going up may be a little rough for people out of shape, besides there’s a lot of loose gravel, and the end is not very rewarding because you really cannot see a volcano, is just a bunch of rocks,
I personally did not do the hot springs because it was too much of a hassle getting changed there in front of everyone, but I am glad I didn’t do it…
There’s no place to relax, you literally jump off the boat and you are already in the hot springs, and there’s no where to sit or chill, so must people jumped for a minute and then climbed back up to the boat, because they got tired quick,
We went to the small town of thirissia afterwards,
It was a nice town, but 2 hours seemed a little long for me,
Finally we went to Oía to see the sunset by BUS not by Boat,
They drop you off in Oía and you walk around to find a good spot.
I really thought it was too overrated,
It was crazy packed with people, and when the sunset came, there was a cloud so people were very disappointed, but that’s no one’s fault.
Overall, it is a good bang for the buck, but for the price don’t expect exclusivity, it is a big group, that’s why the prices are so cheap.
Also forgot to mention, the hotel pickup and drop off is nice, I only walked 5 minutes!

Con amici abbiamo navigato all'interno della caldera con una guida che spiegava passo passo il panorama meraviglioso che ci circondava. Poi a bordo è stata offerta la cena in attesa del favoloso tramonto. Indimenticabile.

Riguardo il transfer da e per il nostro hotel tutto ok. Per il resto no. Innanzitutto la barca strapiena. Una volta arrivati all'isola di Palea kameni a sorpresa ci dicono che bisogna pagare un ulteriore biglietto di 5€ per salire sul vulcano. Praticamente per ammirare un ammasso di rocce solidificate dalla lava, alcuni punti in cui la terra fuma ancora e per raggiungere altezze da cui ammirare panorami... Il tutto sotto un sole cocente, percorso arido e senza manco offrirci una bottiglina d'acqua. Per non parlare della sosta a Thirasia, per salire sul paese si dovevano fare altre 300 scale e il mare non era comunque ottimo... Alla fine ci siamo accampati su di un bar per mangiare e prenderci un gelato.. Un'esperienza da non rifare.. A questo prezzo si fanno tante altre escursioni e trattano molto meglio offrendo anche il pranzo. Mai più

Io ed il mio fidanzato, appena arrivati in hotel abbiamo prenotato sue diverse escursioni. La prima per il 15/08 tramonto sul mare, ECCEZIONALE.
La seconda, vulcano/hot springs/ Thirassia, prenotata per il gg 17/8 alla modica cifra di 48€ a testa. Noi abbiamo soggiornato ad Akrotiri ed il ragazzo (molto gentile) della nostra reception ci ha indicato la fermata bus dove farci trovare per il pick-up che ci avrebbe portato al porto. Per lunedì nessun problema. Per la seconda gita ci facciamo trovare nello stesso punto èd il bus (KAMARI TOURS) non si è fermato! Torniamo in hotel e ci dicono che avevamo sbagliato fermata, risultato? Gita rimandata al giorno dopo.
Il giorno seguente, ci dicono di farci trovare davanti un altro hotel, prima alle 9:05 e poi alle 9:00. Per nostra consuetudine ci facciamo trovare già dalle 8:50 lì davanti.
Alle 8:55 passa il primo KAMARI tour e NON SI FERMA. Alle 9:10 ne passa un altro e NON SI FERMA! Solamente l’autista fa un cenno come per dire “faccio il giro e torno”. Ma io dico se tu autista sai che devi prendere due persone perché non ti fermi? Alla fine dopo ben 40 min di attesa sotto al sole, lui ripassa in tutta tranquillità e ci prende per portarci al porto. La gita in se per se è bella, ma non acquistate nulla con questa compagnia.

Non si capisce nulla con le fermate, non c’è un nome o una indicazione, il nulla cosmico.

This was the best way to end an amazing trip in Greece! We had so much fun on the boat! It was with Caldera tours! The tour guide on board and the crew members made it an experience we will never forget.

Very good value for money, an all day experience as we went to Oia in the late afternoon to watch the sunset. Transfers included close to our hotel, a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide.

Wie schön!
Eine Caldera 5 Stunden Nachmittagstour bis zum Sonnenuntergang.
Mit dem Segler schippert man an den malerischen Fotomotiven von Santorin entlang. Auf Englisch gibt es einige Infos zu hören. Die nette, aufmerksame Crew zaubert ein köstliches, abwechslungsreiches Buffet bevor der Höhepunkt, der gigantische Sonnenuntergang, uns zum fotografieren ablenkte. Und das für relativ, im Vergleich zu den anderen Bootstouren, wenig Geld.
Ach ja. Man wird vom Bus abgeholt und wieder zurück gebracht. Es war unser letzter Tag auf Santorini und der krönenden Abschluß unseres Urlaubs.
