The pace of the tour was perfect..walking, explaining history, time to explore, take photos, enjoying the moment and the beauty all around us! The intimate interaction with tour guide was delightful. The winery was an added plus to the enjoyment of the tour. Overall it was an unforgettable experience!

Santorini was our last stop on a whirlwind tour of Greece. Markos was our tour guide, and fantastic guide, at that! He took us to all the well-known sights and to many “Off-the-beaten sights.” We got some great pictures and memories Note the one below, including Markos. We can highly recommend Santorini experts and suggest you request Marcos as your guide!

My wife and I only had 12 hours to enjoy Santorini, Greece. We wanted to experience the island, the culture, and really get a feel of Santorini. Normally, that would be very difficult to complete during a six hour tour. Markus went above and beyond. He was very approachable, knowledgeable, and hilarious! We were entertained the entire time, and learned a lot about this lovely island. If you are looking for an amazing tour, picking Markus makes it “easy peasy, lemon squeezy.”

One of the best private tours we ever had. Of course, the tour was tailor made based on our requests and we got a clear picture about the whole island(s) and its story. But what it made unique for us was the way we were treated. It felt like visiting the island with a local friend.
We recommend this tour to everyone who is interested in getting to know the real Santorini which has much more to offer than a beautiful sunset.

The experience was a first class excursion, beginning with Marcus. Marcus is very personable and we truly enjoyed our time with him. When we arrived at the vessel, We met Nick who greeted us warmly and drove us to the sail
Boat where we met George. If you are looking for a day of sailing with an experienced crew and captain look no further. George gives a history lesson and allows you to do whatever you want on the boat while maintaining safety. Lunch was awesome and since we were celebrating a birthday we thoroughly enjoyed the Greek birthday song, as performed by George and Nick. Highly recommend this group of hospitality professionals.

MarcosWas fabulous. He made Santorini come to life for us. He was entertaining, a complete gentleman and extremely knowledgeable. He added a lot of personal knowledge to the typical Wikipedia information you get from many tour guides. He was remarkable and special. He took us to a local winery where we had a delightful organic meal and sampled local wines. We walked through an old village and went to the Blacksand beach. He told us all about Life in Santorini and Greece. He also explained his background which included living abroad in Germany in the UK. Don’t mess the opportunity if you have time for him to give you a five hour private tour in his comfortable Mercedes Benz.

Marcus was fantastic, we connected immediately. He was able to take me to the hidden gems of the island. I visited the black beach, white beach and the red beach amongst other beautiful places.
I had the best view of the island from the mount of the Prophet Elias .
Marcus was patient, well educated and explained the history of the island and he has so many fantastic stories to tell me.
I was super impressed and will do this again, It was a beautiful experience for me thanks to Santorini experts and Marcus!!

Kathrin was so friendly and informative during the guide that made us feel like her family. As foodie we enjoy the wine tasting but the thing we will never forget is the volcanic view and all the stories about it. Fully recommended experience!

I've heard the line for the cable car back down to the port can be as much as two hours. We will be there beginning of June. If we take the 3:00pm tour, will we be able to get back to the cable car by 8:00pm to get down to the tenders?

We made it back even though there was a port strike for all the private tenders, meaning that everyone had to use the cable car. We probably waited for two hours in line and we were a bit late - but so were 200 other people. So, of course, the boat waited for us. The tour company told us that they had never had anybody miss a boat and that we would have plenty of time. They couldn’t have anticipated the port strike. Hope that helps you!
