One of the most beautiful, picturesque spots on Corfu. A quaint little village with numerous beaches and the cliffs rising out of the water. You get a 180 degree view of the area from the monastery on top which is built on the site of an old Venetian fortress used as a lookout to warn of possible invaders centuries ago. You must try the grilled Octopus at the Apollon hotel and cafe.
