We had only an afternoon stop with MSC Magnifica.
Geo-travel were at the blue and white shop outside of port gate.
10€ return to Olympia. Giorgio our guide was great, showing us exactly where to go for Olympia and museum tickets. For tjosecwho didn't want to buy he directed them to the sight for panoramic views for free.
Used tgem.for other tours, very organisef and know the cruise itinerary so back in plenty of time.

Ho avuto la fortuna di avere una guida eccezionale Durante le 2 escursioni Ma Manu, molto competente, simpatica dusponibilissima....eccezzionale!!!

Siamo stati agganciati da una signorina di nome Manuela, durante visita al sito archeologico di Olimpia, proponendoci per il giorno successivo visita di Atene, l'Acropoli, cambio della guardia, Tempio di Zeus Olimpico e tempo libero a Plaka per un po di shoppins. Costo 20€ a persona e lei come accompagnatrice. Ha voluto solo i nostri nominativi e dato indicazioni per come trovarla il giorno successivo all'uscita del porto del Pireo. E' andato tutto perfetto, lei simpatica e professionale con il suo sorriso simpaticissimo. Consiglio per chi fa una crociera, non prenotate escursioni offerte in nave, costano troppo e in qualsiasi posto andate, trovate sempre chi vi offre le stesse escursioni a prezzi nettamente inferiori.

The tour and driver were really good. The only downside is that you leave the port early to take advantage of the short time allowed by the cruise line to complete the excursion and the sightseeing activities, but once you get out of the port they start telling you in every language that the tour is leaving in 15 minutes, in reality it took an hour to leave. On top of that they take you to a place nearby as the first stop to admire the sea (beautiful view) and they come back to the beginning point to get more passengers. In reality you end up leaving to Olympia an hour and 20 minutes later.
I understand that they need to fill up the bus to the max but they should tell you then that it’ll take more time so you make your own decision about going with them or taking another tour.
The tour is very cheap compare to the cruise excursion price but we couldn’t get into the museum because we had to go back to the bus. When you go from the other side of the world you don’t want to miss things just because the tour company is not honest about the time that it will take.

Nous avons effectué une croisière dans l adriatique avec MSC. Nous avions une demie journée de visite de l’Athènes , nous avons été agréablement surpris par le service, le professionnalisme et l empathie relationnelle de notre guide Fouad qui est une personne chaleureuse et drôle, qui a su créer une symbiose dans le groupe.

Il sito è un patrimonio inestimabile. I musei mi aspettavo qualcosina in più. Ho dato tre stelle per il valore artistico e l'impatto emozionale che si ha quando ti ci trovi all'interno. Unica pecca che valgono due stelle in meno è la mancanza della possibilità di ingaggiare in loco una guida. Sarebbe un valore aggiunto che, con le giuste conoscenze storiche e mitologiche relative alle origini e le abitudini olimpiche, renderebbe giustizia a questo incantevole luogo. Comunque ne vale assolutamente la pena.

Vorrei chiarire e ricordarVi che il tour che avete prenotato non era privato e non includeva una guida. Era un'offerta speciale per il trasferimento solo al sito e al museo di Olympia insieme agli altri passeggeri della crociera.
Grazie in anticipo per la rivalutazione dell'escursione.

Wir haben mit dem Schiff in Katakolon angelegt und eine dreistündige Tour unternommen. Danach nochmals mit der gleichen Gesellschaft von Piräus nach Athen. Super organisiert, sehr freundliche Reisebegleiter mit John in Katakolon und George in Piräus. Beide Personen sind sehr nette und kompetente Begleiter, die ein echtes Interesse daran haben, den Touristen etwas zu zeigen. Keine Extrakosten oder dergleichen. Wer eine Schiffsreise macht und an einem der beiden Häfen anlegt, dem empfehlen wir diesen Reiseveranstalter. Die Betreuung ist super und sehr freundlich. Ich bin Journalist und ich konnte es kaum fassen, das man mit so einem guten Preis eine so gute Leistung erhält. Ich würde jederzeit wieder mit dieser Firma einen Ausflug buchen! - Das ist eine persönliche Ansicht von unserer Reise und beruht auf unseren eigenen Erfahrungen!

Escursione a KATAKOLON con Manuela persona capace, preparata e di una simpatia disarmante. Le sue spiegazioni interessanti e mirate, ti coinvolgono, attirano la tua attenzione, i suoi sorrisi rendono tutto piacevole e interessante . Prenotato anche x ATENE ,per prezzo e professionalità Manuela ha reso completamente tutto molto Piacevole .Consiglio vivamente anche per le altre località della Grecia.

Nous recommandons vivement geotravel pour vos visites à Olympie et Athènes. Un très bon rapport qualité prix mais surtout nous avons rencontré Fouad qui a été notre guide durant la journée à Athènes. Un francophone vivant depuis 30 ans en Grèce, qui nous a guidé tout au long de la journée. Nous avons passé une excellente journée et Fouad a même réussi a intéressé deux adolescents...merci à lui.

There are two adults and one child for $569 dollars? Why does this excursion get less expensive with the addition of more people?”
