Dan was our guide, he's originally American but has lived in Denmark for a long time. It was great that we could understand his English perfectly. He told us about the history and some stories of famous people and royalty in Denmark and showed us the major sights in central Copenhagen. When I'm visiting a new city for a few days I love having a local show us around and someone we can ask questions to learn about culture and history.

The tour was very informative and the guide, Michel, was awesome. She was very knowledgable, friendly and helpful in answering any and all questions - and managed to keep us away from most of the crowds.. We particularly liked that she shared humorous and interesting stories relating to various sites. Thank you Michel for a lovely tour.

Excellent tour with Dan! He took us all over the city and made sure we got to see the changing of the guards. Dan knew exactly where we needed to stand to get great photos. Dan was very knowledgeable about Copenhagen’s history and made it interesting and easy to follow. We appreciated that he spoke English as well as Danish. Don’t miss out on Dan’s tour!

Wealth of information and saw many places in Copenhagen. Michelle was a great tour guide and very personable. Would recommend.

As it turned out, my husband and I were the only people on this Sunday morning group tour. Dan, an American who had moved to Denmark 20 years ago, was our guide so he obviously spoke good English. He was informative and talked about history and architecture and the royal family. He wasn't really up on how the govenment worked, though, which was surprising. Importantly, if you care about churches, don't take this tour on a Sunday because they don't let tourists inside during services. This was also the rule in Sweden, which was surprising since the Scandanavians are supposed to not be that religious. All in all, it was a good tour, but there were times in the 3 hours that I would have liked to sit down while Dan spoke at length on something. As really a private tour, though, I probably should have just asked.

Our guide Jose was very knowledgeable about the history of Copenhagen, the monuments, the buildings, and the traditions. He walked at a reasonable pace and made stops for necessities (potty and coffee :) ). The tour was definitely worth it!

We enjoyed our 3 hour walking tour with Michel in a small group (7 people total). We covered a lot of the city and experienced a thorough presentation of history, arts, politics, culture, etc. I don’t think she omitted anything of importance. Also she expressed a very positive opinion of the value of a completely socialistic society and government.

Fantastic intro to Copenhagen, its history, districts and architecture. Dan made the whole 3hrs fun and packed with interesting facts. We had a well timed refreshment break and still made it in time to see the changing of the Guard. Thoroughly recommended.

We wanted a tour that would balance visiting well known attractions, neighborhoods and learning something about architecture, Danish history, culture, etc. Our guide, Michel, did a terrific job of providing just that. She was friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the city. She was easy to understand - important for me - and answered all of our questions. We like to walk and the pace was just right.
