The hop on Hop Off has relatively few stops, but that said the town is not that large either. It offered a good way to see the main features ans to get a feel for the island and its unique place in Sweden.

Do not use this bus. It is a total rip off. Only one stop for the city centre. A tour of car parks, camp sites, a cemetery, the hospital, residential areas, and the buses are few and far between. Only two buses with two cruise ships in port. Be prepared to wait anything up to an hour at the designated stops, and then have to stand all the way back to the ship.

In Visby buses are not allowed insede the city walls so we offer a tour to the sights of interest that are out of walking distance. Thank you for your valuble comments and hope you return to Visby some day!

when our cruise ship arrived they told us that they only had 2 buses running the whole day and once the 2nd bus left we would have to wait over an hour until tose loaded in the 2 buses had done their route. we opted to rent bikes while others simply walked the roughly 1/2 to Old town.Avoid supporting tour operators who don't have their act together

They do not post any information on time restrictions that I could find online. Understand that the last bus is at 5pm and your 24 hour ticket is quite time restricted. If you think you will get a full day and return to the ship after dinner you are mistaken. It is also quite confusing, as there is another hop on and off bus operating concurrently. And there is no narration or information as you ride. I would not buy again.

Very disappointed- tour from cruise 6/4/22. Only one stop at the entrance of the old town wall. The driver told us he will return in one hour. Instead me and my husband waited for 2hours and 10 minutes for HOHO bus!

❗❗Very bad! ❗❗
The bus just arrived once an hour, the very expensive ticket can't be combined with other bustours like the redsightseeing bus company.
The liveticker for the bus was OK, but our bus waited offroad for 30 min and so did we, on a busstop with other unhappy clients.
All in all, we felt trapped in an expensive experience without a good service!
The customer service wasn't open to answer our questions and complains.
The bus who should have arrived every 30 min, came after over one hour. In the explanations of the tour, the promised 2 busses an hour. Furthermore we had to change busses in the middle of the tour!

Bus:
1) abbiamo pagato il prezzo pieno per l’intero tour, ma in 7 fermate compresa la città vecchia e altri 2 quartieri, il bus non è passato, mezza città esclusa (vedi mappa). Abbiamo chiesto spiegazioni al desk ma la risposta è stata: a causa del COVID ci sono meno turisti.. e quindi?
2) la guida in italiano sul bus non è completa, si interrompe a metà di ogni frase.
Barca (Archipelago tour):
1) overbooked! Se compro un biglietto mi aspetto di non dovermi sedere per terra per la mancanza di sufficienti posti a sedere.
2) difficile gestire un tour in due lingue su due lati della barca. Si suggerisce un audio guida.
3) tour di 3h durato 2 ore e 30 min. Forse si poteva prevedere 30 min di sbarco all’isola di attracco a metà del tour.
Basterebbe poco per cambiare il giudizio di una compagnia. Se qualcosa non va si deve essere in grado di rimediare. Altrimenti il giudizio non può che essere negativo.

11 hours cruise to see plenty of island but mostly un interesting, the whole thing should of taken a max of three hours the rest was tiring with a ship that is not comfortable at all. Service was great and food was also good, my suggestion take a shorter cruise through around Stockholm, save the time and money

Bus portion was decent and informative, but the boat portion was merely a repeat of the recorded explanation of sites...except on the water. To make it even worse, the boat circled back the exact same route it took, doubling the length and broadcast FOR THE THIRD TIME all the site descriptions

bus was great, boat not so much. Sit on the right hand side of the bus to get best pictures. The bus takes about an hour which is great. The boat takes 2 hrs which in my opinion was too long.

Does either the boat or bus stop near the Cruise terminal? We arrive in Stockholm on Brilliance of the Seas, a Royal Caribbean ship, at 7:30 AM and leave at 4 PM.
