They write about our tour The Wilderness. It is unique tour in purpose of seeing some animals and birds in the nature. This person wrote here email that if we don't return the money of two different excursions she will write a very bad review. This is the base for this review. We think that this is not the meaning of TripAdvisor reviews, blackmailing money back. By two different guides reports the tours went normally and guests were very happy on those tours. We are very happy to refund if there is something wrong but these tours went normally by guides written reports. Those two tours were operated with experienced guides, Sini and Kamila. If the tour must be cancelled or the character of the tours changed remarkably we refund but this was not the case. On this tour we guarantee we see reindeer in the wilderness. They saw 100 by guide report. They also saw an impressive bird eagle owl what is really rare bird. They were very lucky. Anyway Mother Nature is the one who decided what we wiill exactly see. Another important element is that salmon is grilled during the tour by open fire. This also took place and by guide report guests enjoyed a lot this special local gourmet food. This review is just hate writing after not returning the money. We asked TripAdvisor to delete this review but they didn't. People can write here whatever without any responsibility!

I am sorry to hear you were disappointed with Valtteri. He is a local young man and graduated from local nature guide school here in Rovaniemi. He knows this area. He was born in country side, in the nature. I understand that spotting wild animals is very weather dependent. If I understand right you have seen a pack of reindeer which is the only guaranteed animal on this program. Reindeer are semi wild animals. All other encounters are up to Mother Nature. I also know that the area where you drove is the biggest wilderness in South Lapland and it can be challenging to know all wilderness paths as they are hundreds. I am sorry you were not more lucky with animals and not happy with the experience. We also have numerous happy clients with this old program, guests who were more lucky spotting animals I guess and experiencing the wilderness. The lake you mention is the biggest wilderness lake I know anywhere. It is impressive large and quiet. About the oaks we don't have these southern trees here in Lapland we have got only arctic taiga forests so I don't wonder if he didn't know oak trees. We appreciate your feedback anyway and we will think how we could make it better!
