Excursion of a lifetime - Lappish dreams came true

This is a must do activity on your visit to Rovaniemi. This was our final tour in Lapland and we were treated like VIPSs from start to finish. We were picked up and dropped off in a private Mercedes people carrier and upon arrival served hot drinks and provided with appropriate outerwear. We then took turns snowmobiling followed by ice fishing. While we didn’t catch anything it was so much fun seeing fixing it a try and seeing how it’s done. We then had a very yummy three course lunch in a glass igloo with a fire in the middle. The food was delicious and presented really well. The icing on the cake was when I mentioned how we’d love a nice picture or paining of the gorgeous scenery and Alex brought his professional camera and got some photos for us! We were treated like the rich and famous from start to finish and Alex was the BEST host. We did not want the experience to end.

We did this with our 9 and 4 year old and they both really enjoyed it. What made it great for them was the ability to standby the fire or go inside anytime they wanted to warm up or have a little break.
