We had a terrific day today under the guidance of Tia, our engaging and helpful guide. Timely pick up at our city hotel; significant time with the reindeer before a fun 1/2 km ride with one then a useful brief on all things reindeer ( served with berry tea and pastries) then onto the husky ride. Our driver was very informative as she mushed us around the course. Some time with the dogs and sledding before returning for ample time at the Santa village before the transfer home.
Frankly the only disappointment was behaviour of other tourists lacking in self-awareness. They were late for safety briefings ( and made us all wait) then ignored them to wander off for more photos then tried to queue jump the orderly loading of the sleds etc. and tended to ignore all guidance of those trying to help. Very annoying.

An amazing experience for at least one time in life with your kids . We had a short ride with the reindeers in Santa's village since we didn't booked in advance anything before our arrival there but we were satisu with that too . I recommend to everyone who's visiting Santa Claus village to not skip the ride ...any reindeer ride .

The reindeer ride was good and the guide then talked us through information on the reindeers and their habitat. Very informative. The husky bit however not so great. There was too many people all squeezed into the trip which meant people had to share sleds with others, which wasn’t specified on the booking. It was annoying as I was so excited about the trip to be sat towards the back not really getting the view of the ride. Plus it meant with such a big group you were waiting for ages in the cold. Also as we were at the end of the queue the husky’s look knackered. I think If you are happy to stand around for a long period of time and if you are in a group it’s not so bad as you can all go together but personally I would book a separate ride next time to get a better experience! Would I recommend to friends? The reindeer bit yes. Not the husky part I don’t think it’s worth the money! Free time in Santa Claus village good & pick up and transfer ok.

We try to divide the groups in such a way that the waiting times are as short as possible, but in high season the waiting times can still sometimes be longer than expected. During the waiting time, we try to offer something for the younger ones, such as sledging. We are always trying to develop our activities so we appreciate your honest feedback.

Właściciele/menadżerowie bardzo aroganccy i chamscy. Mieliśmy tylko półtorej grozimy czasu wolnego w wiosce Sw Mikołaja, gdzie czas oczekiwania na spotkanie z nim wynosił ponad 3 godziny. Biuro mogło zarezeowac nam wejście, ale tego nie zrobili. Musiałam się z nimi kłócić żeby nie zostawili nas w tej wiosce, bo nikt nie chciał na nas poczekać aż spotkamy się ze sw. Mikołajem. We are sorry to hear that your experience was not up to your expectations. We are not affiliated with the Santa Claus office and are not able to make bookings for meeting the Santa Claus, nor are any other companies in the area. Anyone who decides to meet Santa Claus must queue like everyone else, which can take a long time during the peak season. Unless there are any major delays on the tour we allocate 2 hours for the Santa Claus Village visit. We are sorry to hear that there was not enough time for you, but we must keep a schedule to not delay the drop-off for the others.
We hope that the rest of your experience met your expectations and hopefully you will consider us on your next trip to the Arctic Circle.

We enjoy visiting the Raitola Reindeer and Husky Farm where we could take pictures and feed them. Going around the reindeer-drawn carriage is also interesting. Then we get an explanation about reindeer life while enjoying warm drinks and cinnamon in the hut. After that we walked about 200 m to the husky farm and we rode in a cart pulled by several huskies. This experience is more interesting than the reindeer sled as the huskies run pretty fast and the reindeers just go slower. After that we visited Santa Claus Village for about 2 hours and then we were driven back to the inn.
Anyway, we expected a private tour as mention in the information when we book this trip. But the fact is only the transport was private. During the visit in reindeer and husky farm we joined with other group so we had to queue for a moment. The visit in Santa Claus Village sould be 3 hours and it became 2 hours because we spent more time to queue when doing activity in the farm. The guide also changed several times so we must focus on who should we follow in each activity.
Anyway, we expected a private tour as mention in the information when we book this trip. But the fact is only the transport was private. During the visit in reindeer and husky farm we joined with other group so we had to queue for a moment. The visit in Santa Claus Village sould be 3 hours and it became 2 hours because we spent more time to queue when doing activity in the farm. The guide also changed several times so we must focus on who should we follow in each activity.

Dear Bogdan M,
We are sorry to hear your experience with us didn’t go as expected. As specified in the activity description, the reindeer ride is 500m and the husky ride is brief as husky run rather fast. Lapland is a popular destination in the Christmas and New Year holidays and places can get busy. Unfortunately, you came at the busy time and waiting time is to be expected. While waiting for the husky sledge ride, kids can play in the snow and you can ask questions about the huskies or the region to your guide so the waiting time is not boring. While waiting for the reindeer ride, you can pet the reindeers that are nearby.
We hope you will visit Lapland again, and maybe you could enjoy a longer time for the sleigh rides with our Husky Long Trail Adventure (7-10 km) or the Traditional Reindeer Farm Visit with Sledge Ride where you can be the driver yourself.

Great experience and many thanks to Marcus for being an attentive guide. He looked after us well and even became my little sons hero helping free him from his snow suit where the zip became stuck when he was desperate for the toilet. Lovely experience. Thoroughly recommended.

Experiencia positiva para ir con niños, aunque de saber que se trataba de una vuelta a un circuito cerrado de máximo un Km, hubiera elegido un solo recorrido más largo y con Huskys. Por suerte, nuestro guía Guillermo fue muy atento con nosotros y nos recompensó con explicaciones sobre el país y sus animales, con moto de nieve para el niño en un circuito infantil situado en Santa Claus Village y con una caminata por el Santa's Forest, muy recomendable.

Honestly, this was the best trip we done. The tour & drivers were absolutely outstanding with everything. We had our 1 year old with us so times can be a little stressful and these guys made sure it was stress free and enjoyable for everyone.
The reindeers were great, it was so interesting learning about them and understanding more about them and the owners.
The huskies were also great, it’s amazing how they hardly try yet zoom you around on the sledge.
Santa Claus Village was a perfect way to finish the day, where you could have a look around, doing a bit of shopping and really feel like you’re in a Christmas film.
(If you have young children and worried on what trip to do, pick these guys. They really look after you!)

The huskies were also great, it’s amazing how they hardly try yet zoom you around on the sledge.

숙소 픽업&센딩 서비스와 매우 친절한 담당자!! 담당자 이름을 기억하지 못해 아쉽습니다. 너무너무 즐거웠습니다. 순록과 허스키 농장에서 마음껏 사진도 찍고 눈썰매도 타고 무료로 나눠주는 간식도 먹을 수 있었어요:) 옷 대여비도 포함되어있어서 따로 스키복을 챙길 필요가 없었다. 적극 추천합니다.
