- Sunshine7503380 条分享Snow White我们11月当天的向导叫Maria，当天现集合然后开车前往景区，去的路上两次遇到麋鹿穿越公路。Maria当时跟我们讲再等两个礼拜这些鹿就会被赶回各个鹿场过冬。车程大概一个小时。到了目的地之后开始了5公里童话一般的徒步，虽然当天不是晴天，但也别有一番滋味，作为一个东北人，也很难得看到一个这么纯净一样的景色。走着走着先开始一起吃雪，和同团的小朋友打雪仗，雪地打滚，滑坡。Maria整个过程教会了我们很多知识，看到了麋鹿喜欢吃的植物，摘了被雪覆盖下的冰cranberry 和蓝莓（和东北冻梨神似哈哈哈哈）以及看到了制造芬兰国民品牌kuplika厨房用具的原材料。在整个徒步快接近尾声的时候，我们到了木屋去烤火。冬天里的一把火不仅让人心暖，也让人胃暖。Maria为我们准备了热咖啡,可可和热茶。在零下5度的野外雪世界一股暖流下肚之后她拿出来好多烤肠。感谢Maria和一起同团的一家！温暖的一天撰写日期：2023年11月24日
- adashibinglin0 条分享Chasing Aurora我们一组总共13人，两个向导。在野外非常寒冷，但是因为点了篝火，所以可以让手脚的烤烤火，所以可以驱散寒意，Serena会和我们普及极光的来源，讲讲当地极光的故事，给我们提供热水咖啡喝茶，以及香肠，还有本土的的包面。Serena picked us in the reception of hotel, and took us to office for changing the overall to keep warm in the wild. She is very considerate and talkative. Theo and Serena took us to two wild stop to see the Aurora, and luckily we saw it in both site. The second site they chose was really far to the north, so we were so lucky seeing the dancing Aurora. Theo took pictures for us, because we did not bring camera. After that, we had a burn fire to keep warm, taking teas and sausages. It was a really nice experience. Serena and Theo are really professional and tried to make everyone comfortable.撰写日期：2019年3月2日

At Wild about Lapland we have booked 4 excursions: family friendly Northern Lights, reindeer ride in the evening, huskies 10 km and snowshoes / ice fishing. Everything was perfectly arranged. We were picked up neatly on time, friendly guides and we had very nice excursions! Also lucky enough to see the Northern Lights. We had booked everything six months in advance. In the meantime, I have been in touch a few times via email because I had some questions. I always got a very quick and neat answer. We recommend Wild about Lapland!

Excellent guide, Tim. Good for small children and knowledgeable guides. We found the Northern lights :) Cooked sausages and tour was very well organised.

We had an amazing time on this family tour! Ou host was super friendly and made the experience enjoyable. The transport was very comfortable, and we even got to catch a glimpse of the aurora, though it wasn’t very strong. Overall, it was a memorable and well-organized tour, my 6 year old had an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend!”

This company is great. I also went with another company that was really bad. Our first guide Tim was dedicated, hard-working, and showed us how to make designs with the red light in a photo. My my second guide Aly was energetic, personable, which they all were also, but she was extra fun, and took excellent photos of our wonderful viewing of the Aurora activity that night. My other guides Gerard and Adrian also were super fantastic. The company is helpful during the day and by email and staffed by friendly and kind people.

We looked forward to this trip for a while year and were left bitterly disappointed, each of us for different reasons. My husband was enthusiastic and asking lots of questions and was told to stop asking questions until the others in the tour were picked up. Then the driving of the guide was so bad and dangerous, always swerving onto the other side of the road and if talking to the person next to him (a trainee) he would be looking at him and not the road. When we arrived at the destination we realised we would not see anything as it was a completely full moon. These kind of tours should not take place when there is a full moon! Of course the moon cancels out the darkness required to see anything..and yet the guide insisted there were lights and insisted we have photos taken with them. The sky was absolutely grey and cloudy. He became irritated when we didn't want photos taken. Of course in the photos you can see green due to the special filters. Wow. The guide hardly told us anything interesting if at all in lieu of not seeing anything green. At least he could have done that.

A great and successful trip with 8 participants plus guide Rouven (spelling?). The group size is - as always with Wild About Lapland - to be emphasized, because in a small group of max. 8 people plus guide it is much more personal and individual (no mass processing, as we experienced with another tour operator with 20 to 40 people [booked through the travel agency]).
Rouven drove with us for quite a while and kept checking via app where the northern lights could be seen (it was already very cloudy). Then he "just stopped", we got out and hey presto, there was really beautiful northern lights right above us! Since our guide also had a very good camera including a tripod, wonderful pictures were taken, which we later received free of charge by email. Afterwards we sat in a tent by the campfire, Rouven told us one or two stories and we grilled and ate sausages together. We were also able to ask questions throughout the entire trip, which were answered openly and in a friendly manner. A really very personal and friendly tour. Thank you so much for the great experience!!!
We would/will be happy to go on tour with this operator again at any time.

This tour was absolute chaos. We booked for 7pm lapland BBQ northen lights tour. We were then sent an e mail to meet at 7.30. We were told to wait inside and someone would shout for us. When I asked what was happening after 7.30 and still waiting we were told to wait outside. Many many tours were being taken, many tour leaders not shouting out which tours they were taking so we were so confused. The 7pm tour was still with us. By chance I asked someone and he posted us in the right direction. We all got taken to a bus at 20 00, there was not enough space for everyone, a small girl had to sit on her mums lap. ? Are there no safety laws ? Then randomly a load of people were taken off the bus, dont know why. We were still sat on the bus at 8.30 and getting reports that the northern lights were happening right now. I saw mixed reviews pre booking and hoped what I read before that it was unorganised that this didn't happen often and might be rare so i risked booking with you. I see your company keep apologising on reviews saying the same apology. Rather than apologise why don't you change your process. One easy solution is have a sign with the name and time of tour on it. People then go and stand by that sign and get taken. I have never seen such chaos. In the chaos we took a wrong person and had to stop the coach to let him off.
We chose this tour as family friendly, a set good set off time of 7pm and a 3 hour experience felt perfect to be back by 10pm. We ended up not leaving until 8.35 and returning 00.35. The guides were friendly and quirky once we got there which was nice, but we had no information about what was happening throughout.
The Tee pees were so cramped with people scrambling to get sausages and marshamallows and squeezed by a fire. I didnt bother as too claustrophobic. We did see the northern lights which was amazing but felt this experience stressed us out so much it dampened the feeling when we saw the them. Would never use this company again

We have been on a lot of activities and trips and the guides are always super nice and polite. But not this oneon our Northern lights tour on October 30th 2023. I felt very uncomfortable druing the whole tour.
Well, the guide was not the typical, friendly outgoing guide. He didn't introduce himself properly nor asked who we were. No interest in us at all.
At the beginning he answered my questions with "I don' t know" or some cynical answers.
He was only interested in the other family / mother, asked her a lot of questions and ignored us (our family) completely. At the beginning he was outspoken impolite to us. Later it got a bit better.
At the beginning my daughter and I sat in the front of the bus (out of politeness to the other family of four, the front is only 1.5 seats;) without explanation the Guide told my daughter (14) to sit in the back and the other mother had to sit next to me (very uncomfortable with a stranger on such restricted space). And we couldn't understand why.
My two children also commented later on his strange behaviour. Later on they were allowed to sit in the front together so that I hadn't to squeeze in with the other mother but they were worried because afterwards they told me that the Guide looked through the camera while driving and drove on the left side of the road.
On the whole, we saw a little bit of northern lights, but the feeling of not being welcome, or annoying to the guide, spoilt the experience.
