This card seemed incredibly expensive for just three days - 84 euros. But after totaling up all the things I did - metro, buses, hop-on hop-off bus, boat trip, ferry, museums - it would have come to about 120 euros bought separately. So if you will be in Helsinki and wanting to see a number of things, this card really is worth it.

Helsinki is a terribly expensive city.
But he has the nicest people I've ever met in a European country.
The Helsinki card helps too much to get to know and move around the city without scaring the wallet. It is a matter of making good use of it knowing as many places as possible.

The Helsinki Card is definitely worth the cost. All travel from the airport and around the city was included as well as the ferry to Suomenlinna.
All major attractions were included too so if you are spending a few days discovering the delights of the city, this is a very cost effective way to explore.

Helsinki Card City 48 hour card
Purchased 48hour cards before arrival in Helsinki airport. The printed voucher is exchanged for the hard copy cards at the excess baggage / storage booth as you exit the arrivals Hall (not the baggage reclaim area). The booth is a few metres from the escalator to the train platforms. The cards cost €132 and we validated them next morning. If you use the hop on hop off bus and take a city cruise together with a visit to the 'Rock Church' and maybe a museum via tram / bus, you more than get the value of the cards in two days.

City cards are a mixed bag, but we really used the Helsinki card. The city's trams and buses are free with the card, and we found the system easy to use. The only hard part was finding the tram stops, but the people in Helsinki are fantastic. Two ladies at two separate times actually walked us to the stop!

There are 2 different cards, the City Card and the City Card Region. Each is valid for 1-3 days from activation. You can use all public transport, Zone ABC and from/to the airport with the Card Region.
Various entrance fees to attractions and boat trips. Simply compare online to see what is more suitable for the time you are there.

Cards are the way to go, travel as you please with no worries. Card work with all transportation and great transportation in Finland

The Helsinki card was very helpful! We used it for transportation, entrance to various places like the Rock Church, a sightseeing boat ride around the bay for several hours and other things. It made it really convenient - just read to see all the things you can do and then go explore!

Wish we had more time. Needed to get back to our ship by 3:30. Boat tour was really nice. Rock Church is beautiful and interesting, Senate Square and Helsinki Cathedral, great eatery Old Market Hall is a wonderful place for many options for eating. Roberts Coffee is a beatiful buildingand coffee and Gelato delicious. We bought a teo day Helsinki Card right here on Trip Advisor

I am visiting Helsinki end of March for 3 days. Is Helsinki card good for me for 2 days.

You need to plan your two days so that you take the most expensive item then. That way the card will be more than worth the price you paid for it. On the other hand, take only the Helsinki (zone 1) version, not the regional one unless you plan to travel outside the city, and in March you probably won't do that. The regional one costs an additional 10 euros or so while the trip from the airport on the train is less than that.

Yes it is good for a particular canal tour (among the many available) from May to end of September, based on information on the Helsinki Card web site. By the way I assume you want the Regional Card instead of just the Helsinki Card because you want to make use of transportation in the Helsinki region instead of the city itself?

Hi. Am visiting Helsinki between 11 - 15 June 2019 with my wife and son. I plan to buy the 72-hour Helsinki card.
It mentions that it allows only the Train link between Vantaa Airport and City.
I have been advised to take Bus No. 615 from Airport to my place of stay. Can I use the card to travel by bus?
