Not only the sauna and the swimming in the lake was a very relaxing experience, but also Jeff is a lovely person, warm, outgoing, and helpful. It was definitely worth it.

Jerry was very professional to explain the difference between smoke sauna and electric one I used in my hotel. I enjoyed this old fashion smoke sauna a lot. It was my first experience to swim in a lake as well. Highly recommended!

Jeff was a fun, knowledgeable guide. Enjoyed portions of the hike where we picked strawberries, juniper berries, bilberry and picked mushrooms. Who knew that elfscup mushroom was nutty. In addition to the hike we had a wonderful meal, that blueberry pie prepared by Jeff's wife mother heavenly, I think it needs to he a staple in every tour.

My family and I loved the Finnish smoke sauna so much we booked the tour twice during our short visit to Helsinki. Jeff and Kiia are wonderful guides. If you want to have a true Finnish experience do the smoke sauna. Be prepared for a hot sauna and a dip in the cold lake, so much fun and something to remember!

Jeff is a very good guide, he communicates the Finnish tradition through simple but significant things: sauna, barbecues, Finnish food and drinks. Really recommend if you are looking for such experiences, especially when you don't have enough time to be fully immersed into tje culture. Thanks Jeff!

What an absolutely amazing experience! I am so glad I found this trip with Jeff and Kiia! They were not only very welcoming, fun, and caring, they went the extra mile to ensure my mom and I were comfortable and safe throughout the evening. I could NOT recommend this trip more! A true Finnish experience that we will never forget. Don't think twice before booking...you won't be disappointed! Thank you much, Jeff and Kiia!

I visited Finland for 3 weeks back in March and I visited Kuusijarvi with my Finnish cousin she gave me 3 choices where to go for a Sauna and I chose Kuusijarvi I even dove in the lake and I have pics to prove I did it. This was not my first Sauna experience as I am a Finnish/American and I am coming back in Dec for sure or sooner once travel is lifted... Since I am a Combat Soldier the lady gave me a discount, I thought that was nice and yes I showed her my Military ID,,,, I can't wait to get back to my native land...

When Jeff & Kiia picked us up it was like we were hanging out with good friends. They made our first sauna experience comfortable and a ton of fun. Would love to do other excursions with them if I had time.

So if you are ever in Helsinki, Finland and are wondering what to do - do the most Finnish thing and go do the smoke sauna with Jeff and Kiia. What an amazing couple, they made us feel very comfortable and gave us a great time and loads of memories. It’s something you definitely have to try!!! They offer many other activities if the sauna thing is not your forte - it was like we have known them forever! Great for couples, friends and kids.
