What an amazing experience! The huskies are more loved and cared for than any dogs I’ve met. The tour guide was so kind and sweet. We loved our tour!!

An absolute must to book. The home is in the most beautiful location, the dogs just adorable & so content in their environment.
The trip was so welcoming and personal. Gunnar was the perfect host, so informative and made our time there an amazing experience. The guy who collected us from our pick up point was so friendly and even recognised us a couple of days later in the town.
Thank you (plus all your 21 huskies) for a memorable day.

This tour is worth all the hype I can give it. Insanely good guides and owners, could not recommend more. Gunni invited us into his home for coffee after the tour and we ended up chatting for ages about shared love of animals, middle earth, and Norse mythology. The dogs were beautiful and extremely friendly. Would come back to the north of Iceland for this experience alone. Keen to be back for the sledding!

Sometimes you connect right away and it's just like having an old friend visiting, I had a great time myself.
Its a long trip from Australia but you´re welcome back any time.

Wonderful Tour! Private and very personalized. The dogs were adorable. Excellent guide and interaction with owner, who invited us into his home, was a plus. Also enjoyed the tour of the neaby little church. Highly recommended.

WoW WoW and wow again - what an amazing adventure. A must if visiting Akureyri - Maria is such a wonderful human being and one of the biggest dog lover we’ve ever met.

The only thing I hate about my vacations is missing my pets and this gave me some quality dog time on our trip. Maria & Gunni have made a business out of their love for their wonderful huskies. Maria picked us up at the cruise dock and 5 minutes later we were at a dog’s paradise where we got the chance to take an hour walk where the dogs pulled us with a harness in a beautiful wooded path next to their property. You can tell when someone truly loves what they do and they have worked their lives around their furry family. Could not of asked for a better excursion and the highlight of our wonderful cruise.

After being picked up at the port on time and receiving instructions, we walked with the huskies for about an hour. We were then introduced to the family's house and the huskies. Cuddles guaranteed 🙂. We were given lots of information the whole time. (in English) Questions were also possible at any time. The trip including the return journey lasted a good 2 hours. Overall, a great experience, I can highly recommend it.

What a wonderful experience! The entire family is amazing, the 5 humans and 21 huskies. It was such a beautiful day, the views are incredible. The dogs are all so sweet and loving. The stories are fun, it’s the most personal experience. I loved learning more about life in north Iceland. Highly recommend
