We do try to provide a well-rounded experience that showcases some of the unique natural wonders that Iceland has to offer. We want to share a fun fact with you that might shed some light on why we use the term "jeeps" for our vehicles. Icelanders actually call all 4x4 vehicles "jeeps"! This started during World War II when the Jeep Willys arrived in Iceland. The Icelanders then coined the term "jeppi" for all 4x4 vehicles, and they still use it today. We use modified vehicles known as superjeeps for our tours, even though most of them are Fords, Toyotas, or Mercedes. We appreciate your suggestion to focus more on off-roading and snowmobiling on this tour, and we'll definitely take it into consideration.
