What can I say, this is my second visit to iceland and it has once again blown me away with its beauty. I took this small group tour over 2 days to explore some more of iceland. We had a tour guide named 'jake' (his real name was long and hard to remember so this was what he told us) He was a great guide, very clear and informative about everything, he adapted to change when toilets were unexpectedly closed due to Easter, making sure we still had toilet stops. He also included some extra stops which was super appreciated as we were lucky enough to have a good group who were always back on time, giving us some spare time at the end, it was great that jake utilised this time to help us see some more places.
Nice travel tours are really well organised, have some really great stop offs to must see locations, the small bus they use is comfortable and with single seats for solo travellers (myself) which was great, WiFi and USB charging also available. They also have great communication via email for any queries with speedy response. Very happy to recommend this company to anyone looking for a fab tour in iceland!
I am 100% sure this will not be my last tour with them!

We really enjoyed this tour and the sights the west coast had to offer! David was a fantastic tour guide and we really enjoyed his enthusiasm, in addition to his interesting stories. Would highly recommend!

This tour was absolutely perfect!
Incredibly beautiful nature paired with our super nice and friendly guide Christina results in a stunning experience!
Christina showed us her favorite spots, told us everything we wanted to know and even helped us planning our following trips.
The tour was a mixture of popular "photo stops" and more unknown places, which was simply unbelievable all together.
We were lucky that we had a sunny weather throughout the two days and that we were only a very small group. NiceTravel really tried their best to make our 2-day trip perfect. And it really was!

Our guide Eddie made this two day trip a memorable experience with his knowledge of geology and good sense of humor. We had some intense winds and snow drifts to deal with, which Eddie drove through expertly. We did not stick to the original itinerary due to the weather, but stopped at alternate locations that were also lovely. Day 2 was my favorite as we explored The Cave (lava tunnel) and finished the tour by relaxing at Krauma's hot pools, in addition to seeing some more of the landscape. Nicetravel was easy to communicate with and I would recommend them for tours.

The so called 2 days tour is actually a combination of 2 day tours which was not make known to us prior to the booking.
On the first day, the guide/ driver who picked us up as not sure which guest is for daily or overnight tour, we were drove to Borganes hotel to pick up some more guests and followed by a toilet stop, the actual tour does not commence until close to 11am. The guide of the day suggested us to but some food and skip lunch in order to visit so called his favourite sight which is in the itinerary and its turned to be a 20 minutes bumpy road to a lighthouse whereas the majority of the guests only spent less than 10 minutes which speaks about how attractive the "favourite" sight was.
Upon finishing the day 1 tour , we only realised we were the only one who were on the 2 days tour, the driver drove us to hotel the same Hotel Borganes thinking we will be staying there but a poor communication between the tour company and the "freelance " guide caused us to wait for 20 to 30 minutes to make phone calls to sorted out our accommodation. We are suppose to stay at a nearby guesthouse with wonderful seaview as informed never mind its a shared bathroom. After a few calls by the driver we ended staying at these unappealing tourist hotel. Despite its an upgrade, but its certainly not a pleasant stay. Better communication and arrangement required.
Due to the fact of a combi tour, we have to wait till 10am for our day 2 tour to begin as the same scenario occurs , pickup from Reykjavik and drive to Borganes followed by another 20 minutes break.
But the day 2 tour were more enjoyable and relaxing plus a pleasant Guide.
I took up this 2 days tour thinking of it will save time my time traveling from Reykjavik if on day tour and can begin our 2nd day tour early but it turned up to be the same like a day tour. Should have highlight these as a combi tour in the website and a better communication between the guide are needed to avoid the unnecessary inconvenience that we had experienced.

NiceTravel really puts together some great tours which makes it easy for you to just enjoy all the great views. Our guide Andre was very good and knowledgeable. The sites were absolutely breathtaking and highly recommended for all to see, even in the middle of winter. Granted, we had great blue skies and not the infamous winds that Iceland can get in the winter. Sun rises and sunsets were great against the mountains in Snaefellsnes Peninsula. Our van was comfortable and was equipped with WiFi. The variety of sites: the shoreline basalt cliffs/formations, the volcanoes, the caves, the waterfalls, the horses, spas and even the shark experience were great. This was a once in a lifetime trip.

Our guide Harpa osk sigurdottir was knowledgeable and an awesome driver. She make decisions according to the weather which allowed us to avoid the snow storm and see everything on the itinerary. Lots of wonderful sights and breathtaking pictures. One of the highlights was an impromptu trip to the Sturlureykir horse farm where we met the friendliest host who bakes an amazing bread with her private hot springs and has the most docile and friendly horses I have ever met.
Kudos to Harpa for the lovely recommendation and to Hrafnhildirgu@Sturlurekir horse farm for the hospitality. I would recommend this trip anyone who is coming to Iceland.

It was quite an adventure on this tour mainly because of the weather. Thor was a skilled driver and humorous guy, it's interesting to learn about his family having come from the peninsula, so definitely should ask him more about it. I believe we skipped some attractions because of the bad weather and limited daylight, but everything else was great and the lava cave was the highlight. Grateful that they let us see the drying shark meat that you can only see in the winter. Otherwise would recommend going on this tour in the summer to maximize the itinerary.

Unfortunately, several elements of this trip were impossible due to awful weather and road closures. However, David was not only an excellent and reassuring driver in extremely difficult circumstances, he did his best to keep the group informed and even found an accessible waterfall that wasn't on the itinerary. David's knowledge of the area was really helpful and enabled him to excel as a confident tour guide too. Importantly, he retained a positive attitude and sense of humour throughout.
Overall, I'd highly recommend this trip with Nicetravel. The nearly new minibus was very comfortable, and the 2 days would have made for a good balance of travel and sight seeing had we been able to reach the west and south of the peninsular.
On a very negative note, shark meat is utterly disgusting so taste it with caution!

Overall, I'd highly recommend this trip with Nicetravel. The nearly new minibus was very comfortable, and the 2 days would have made for a good balance of travel and sight seeing had we been able to reach the west and south of the peninsular.

HI. Does this tour operate through the Winter? I am intending to visit Iceland but don't know which month to go.....I wish to see the volcanic areas/ hot springs and also get a good opportunity to see the Northern lights.
