This was such an amazing tour! All the stories were wonderful and Stefan was such a great storyteller. We also go to go to different areas of the city which was a lot of fun and interesting to see.

Not interesting, only 4 points to look at, the tour guide denied me the right to have a sticker as he said he has seen me on another tour so I have one already. He gave two magnets to the others and one to me only since he has seen me in another tour so I did pay for both tours and should not be discriminated like this.

Hi and thank you for leaving Your Friend In Reykjavik a review.
I'm sad that not getting a Vegvísir fridge magnet in the end of the tour was so upsetting and I will let all my guides know from here on that EVERYONE on a tour should have one, even though they have done another tour with us already.
I sincerely hope that you enjoyed some of stories told on the tour and the views at Hólavallakirkjugarður cemetary as that place is magical.

We have done walking tours in the city before and while this was a nice complement to what we have already done I would suggest that its more important to understand the neighborhoods of the city that will be visited. This was a new area - with new stories - and we enjoyed our time.

Absolutely brilliant tour. Really interesting mix of history and folk tales. It was great to walk round the city to get our bearings too, as we'd just just arrived. Would definitely recommend this company!

What a lovely way to spend a couple of hours in the company of our guide Stefan. We got to visit a couple of lesser known spots whilst listening to some some fantastic tales of Elves, trolls and ghosts. Stefan is an excellent guide and really brought the stories to life with his enthusiasm. Could have happily spent another couple of hours listening to the stories.

We wanted an entertaining way of learning about the culture in Iceland that would also hold the attention of our 15 year old and ten year old children. This tour did not disappoint. Snaesa was a fantastic guide, she really engaged with the children and answered their many questions, from school life in bad weather to other things that were more relevant to the tour. Snaesa was attentive enough to check with us as parents about how sensitive the children were to the stories so that she could make them age appropriate, and told all the stories in a light but engaging way whilst walking us around her beautiful city, pointing out not only key sites but also people of interest. She was very knowledgeable, incredibly polite and good fun. We fully recommend this tour for like minded people with or without children.

We took this tour with Stefan as our guide, and we really enjoyed it. Stefan was lots of fun and really brought his stories to life. There were no kids in in our group, but I think kids would have had a great time! The tour gave us some exposure into the Icelandic culture we would not have gotten otherwise, and we were happy with the history that was included.

We both enjoyed the tour around the old part of Reykjavík, Snaese our guild was very informative on the old folk stories. visiting the cemetery was interesting.
