This show was great for kids and adults! Interesting and informative. The staff are knowledgeable about many things, including lava, and they added a bit of comedy to the show. It’s a great way to spend an hour after a day of touring!

Fun explanations and real lava experience at the front seat. Very tidy establishment, excellently organised. We really enjoyed it!

Such a great evening visiting the lava show. We booked the premium option which included upstairs bar area to sit and have a drink , a drink, backstage tour, and seats upstairs plus a piece of lava. It was really good and worth the money. The hosts of the show were excellent, forgot his name but one of the guys took time after the show to show us information about the volcano monitoring and latest predictions of irruptions it was after the last show of the night and really appriciate him taking the time to do so! Would recommend this to anybody had a spare hour or 2 whilst visiting Iceland it’s really worth it!

Our family enjoyed the show. It was informative and entertaining. It was not too long for our 7 year old and she enjoyed it.

We debated whether to go. So very glad we did. Incredibly interesting experience. Johana (3-17-2025 2 pm) was wonderful- very informative and funny! If you get the chance go- you won’t regret it!

The Lava Show is fascinating. I learned a lot and highly recommend it. It is not often that you can get up close to hot lava! I don't think it would be great for young kids though as it is more educational than exciting.

Fascinating experience. We were welcomed, had our drink before the show and sat comfortably.
The presenter was personable and went through his interest and background. The explanation and film on the volcanic history of Iceland was excellent. However, that could not adequately prepare for the spectacle and heat of lave flowing into the theatre. Amazing! Again the presentation was informative while he ‘played’ with the lava and showed off its properties.
Go for it… unless of course there’s a real eruption, but good luck with that

When I booked the lava show, I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. I knew I’d see lava but didn’t know what else. The show ended up being fun while also being informative. The presenter was extremely knowledgeable about volcanic activity and its history in Iceland. We watched a brief video about volcanoes. Then the lava flowed into the room and we got to learn about its movement, temperature, etc. I thoroughly enjoyed witnessing lava flow in a safe environment. If you arrive early, I recommend sitting in the front row so you can see everything up close. The room isn’t terribly large so the other seating isn’t bad either. I don’t think a premium seat is worth it since you’re on the upper level and have a Birds Eye view. But some may prefer that. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and highly recommend it to others.

We booked this last minute as we had a spare couple of hours and found it fascinating. Visually impressive, it was made all the more interesting by Iain our host who had a very polished, informative and fun presenting style. Thanks Iain, we had a great time
