I can recommend the tour to anyone who wants to see a lot in a short time. Denis, our tour guide and entertainer, did a great job. He provided us with a lot of information about the spots and Iceland in general. The break in the evening in Reykjavik was perfect for warming up, eating and energizing for the Northern Lights tour. Sunny, our guide in the evening, led and to two different spots. Unfortunately, many people are very reckless. That's why I'd prefer a small-group Northern Lights tour next time.

We did both the Golden Circle and the Northern Lights. The tour guides on both excursions were exceptional.
Golden Circle - The tour guides kept up his discussion of Iceland throughout the tour. As a result, we learned much more about Iceland than just the five stops on the tour. I highly recommend this tour for everyone.
Northern Lights - Victoria was a superb tour guide. She discussed the science behind the Lights as well as the lore about their origination and meaning. Victoria also presented numerous very interesting stories about Iceland and the traditions of the inhabitants. If the rating allowed higher than Excellent, I would give her a Superb rating.
Golden Circle - The tour guides kept up his discussion of Iceland throughout the tour. As a result, we learned much more about Iceland than just the five stops on the tour. I highly recommend this tour for everyone.

This trip is a must when visiting Iceland, you get to see so much in one tour. The bus is modern, the tour guide was funny, knowledgeable and spoke excellent english.
Seeing the planes where The Lord of the Rings was actually filmed was incredible also brought a new understanding of the extremes they worked in.
The waterfalls for me were the highlight, breathtaking.
Personally I’d take food to avoid the extortionate prices at each stop/sight cafe. I don’t mind paying over but the prices were unacceptable.
Again highly recommend this tour but TIP avoid during winter months adding the Northern Lights part as it hardly goes ahead and your not given a refund just a chance to use it again within three years!

The tour guide and scenery were good. However we lost a lot of time when our bus broke down and also when we left a late couple behind and had to return to get them. As a result we arrived at our last stop after dark. Our Northern Lights trip resulted in no aurora sighting too.
