Our first snorkeling trip on Madeira has been a special experience. The waves were too high in our eyes to snorkel quietly. It fluctuated quite a bit. Unfortunately few fish seen.

It was an incredible experience and apparently we were very lucky in what we found! Our Guide, Nico, was flawless and helped with everything we needed. I can say the same about our skipper Rodrigo! I recommend 100% the blue diving centre at the tip of São Lourenço to those looking for an excellent diving experience!

The operators took great care of all participants! I've seen some fish. The snorkeling area alone was breathtaking. Finally, a monk seal greeted us. The 35 euros were definitely worth it! The hole in the Neo was really happy to be ignored! Thank you again!

good equipment, suit, sticks and glasses, excellent boat ride, very interesting area to be explored, huge fish of various species and sizes, with the curiosity of being in the area of the island of barley, people who accompanied us were 5 stars. we liked it very much.

We really didn’t see much of anything. Could be because of the current or could be because the snorkel gear was repeatedly getting fogged up. Myself and others had a hard time seeing through them and we expected more out of a diving place. The wetsuits kept us warm, but they were so ripped up they kept falling off. We couldn’t find the place because you can only see the sign when coming down the hill. Took us 15 minutes to find the place and when we did, the lady just rudely told us “it’s on the website. There’s a video” and seemed like it was our fault we couldn’t find the place. We received no message after booking at all saying to arrive early for putting on the wetsuits or where to meet. We booked through Trip Advisor, not the website, so we saw no video nor did we receive a message with a video. Very little talking on the boat with instructions and no one got in the water to guide you over to wherever the fish were. Once I got out of the water and only then, did one of the guys show me a book with the different types of fish. Worst snorkeling experience I’ve ever had. Would not recommend washing your time. Best part was just the boat ride going over there.

Check-In Process: We acknowledge that the check-in process may have felt rushed due to the delay. We’ll review our procedures to ensure a smoother experience for all guests.
Wetsuits: As of March 2024, we’ve restocked with brand-new wetsuits to enhance comfort and safety.

Nice and kind stuff. Our main guide , ocean biologist Natasha described us all of animals we can met and was our support during time in water. We saw mamy of local fish and during way to Garajau we saw dolphins and on way back monk seal.

Wonderful experience with Natasha, a marine biologist, who explained everything in a way for all to understand what we were going to see and how the snorkeling equipment is best used. Everyone had a great time and must have been good, we got a snack at the end. Highly recommend the opportunity.
