Convenient and on time

Very Busy

I always use this service when i'm on holiday, however I found that on this occasion the bus was invariably full and so I was hesitant to get off, that, and the fact that an hour wait in between buses when there really wasn't that much to see/do at the stops was a bit of a disappointment. Plus this was in March so I would hope there would be more buses on in the height of the season

Gracias Jasón!
En gozo cogimos un bus para ir de tour por la isla, nos gustó mucho la organización.
Lo que lo hizo más especial fue Jasón con su alegria y manera tan extrovertida de ser! Gracias Jasón por ser tan agradable.

Antes de subir con Jasón en uno de los buses matrícula fpy-001 el día 4 de febrero nos toco un conductor lo más desagradable para todo, no me quería ni dar un mapa y tenía muy mala actitud.

Pero gracias a Jasón en el siguiente autobús, nos alegró la experiencia! Un abrazo!

Great way to see the island
Great way to see the island if you’re only there for a day. Very punctual, interesting explanations of the various sites, extremely convenient

Poor
We paid €36 for a couple. We quickly realised you can't get off at all of the stops because you don't have enough time unless you get the earliest bus.
The ride at some of the stops are not for the faint hearted. Local bus are cheaper and will take straight to your destination

A good set of locations but not enough time!
You need to be on the first bus for this tour. If you arrive at say 11 and 2 busses and a ferry are pulling in the driver will wait for them and that could delay you by around 45 minutes in which case you won’t be able to stop at every stop. It all feels quite rushed and expensive for the transport provided, it’s a shame as the drivers are lovely but some of the city site seeing staff at the ferry port are quite rude and very numbers orientated literally cramming people on the busses. If you stop at the temples it is 10 euros per adult for entry and 7 for kids. You could easily spend a full day in Victoria so will probably come away thinking you have missed loads of things as it is huge. If you don’t want to feel like your in a rush this your is not for you at all and would be better hiring a car or staying in the island for a couple of nights. The boat trip into the caves doesn’t run in winter and a stop of 45 minutes at this stop is not long enough either if you intend on doing the boat. The busses are not always punctual so be prepared for some waiting around ( which can also waste part of your day) it’s a shame as the locations of the sites are great and the drivers are great but it really is a rip off and through winter the busses stop even earlier than usual.

Disappointing
This is an expensive tour of the island’s tourist traps and not actually as flexible as they suggest for jumping on and off.

You’d be better paying the 1 euro 50 for the local buses or walking the trails rather than board the bus and be treated as a tourist cash cows

Gozo Hop-On Hop-Off Bus

We decided to take the City Sightseeing Gozo Hop-On Hop-Off bus because we decided not to rent a car.

We never take these tours, and most likely never would again; that said, if you only have a day on Gozo and want to see the highlights, this is the one time I would recommend taking a hop-on hop-off bus. To maximize the tour you should start first thing in the morning.

Overall the bus was on time and everything went OK...except our last bus. All day the bus was not crowded...then, at our last stop, the bus was going to pass us by! If we missed it we would have had to wait another 45 minutes and be late for the ferry! We flagged the bus down hard and it stopped. We BARELY could fit inside, we were literally at the door's edge. We are young and were able to hang on, but this is rather alarming, that someone might have to wait a full 45 minutes for the next bus because they did not plan accordingly for end-of-day needs. There was no shelter/shade/seating and this could be a problem for some folks.

Good service
Busses arrived on time every 45 minutes. At Ta'Pinu church it stopped for 10 mins to take pics, because that is all the time you need there. Everything else also seemed fine. No complaints.

Meilleure option pour visiter l'île
Je n'aurai jamais pensé prendre un jour un de ces bus "faits pour les touristes" mais nous ne regrettons pas. En arrivant du ferry, nous sommes allés au point info location à gauche quand nous sortons du bâtiment. Nous voulions à la base louer des vélos électriques mais ils étaient tous pris et heureusement car l'île est assez "montagneuse". On nous a conseillé de prendre ce bus (15€ au lieu de 18€) et quelle bonne idée. Nous avons pris celui de 11h15, nous sommes descendus à Djewra, avons fait le tour en 45min puis sommes remontés dans le bus. Il s'arrête à la citadelle de Pinu pendant 10min le temps de prendre une photo et de rentrer dedans. C'est suffisant. Nous sommes ensuite descendus à Marsalforn et avons marché jusqu'au marais savants pendant 1h30. Puis re-descente au temple de Ggantija. Au port nous avons pris un bus normal pour aller à Victoria visiter la citadelle de nuit 😍. Bref au top du top!!!!!
