What an awesome experience for me and my family. The ride up was beautiful but seeing the city and mountain views from the top of the mountains was the highlight of our trip. Highly recommend.

The tour operator's information is very misleading. As other reviewers have noted, the ticket you buy through the Trip Advisor link only takes you half way up (nowhere basically) if you want to go to the top, be prepared to buy a second ticket (€37.50 I think it was).
That being said, BUY THE SECOND TICKET!! you will not regret it. Going to the "Top of Innsbruck" will blow your mind. It's totally worth every penny. Bring your warmest winter coat, hat, etc. There's a little café at the top with decent espresso, hot chocolate, light meals. The cable cars come and go every 15 minutes so you can leave whenever you're ready.

The journey to Hafelekar, Top of Innsbruck, in early March 2023 was definitely worth it! Breathtaking, unforgettable views!

Highly recommend a visit to the top and a visit to the zoo on the mountain on the way down. Spend some time admiring the view, have lunch at the top and then play in the snow. If you are prepared - journey to the summit - with proper shoes only.

Absolute must see if you're in the area. Easily accessible from downtown. The trip will take you up the hill to the Alpen Zoo, Ski Resort, and eventually to the top of the world. Views are unrivaled and the ride is easy and efficient. Best view of the Alps we found while touring the region.

A must visit place.
The best time to visit this place is February and in a clear weather. We were quiet lucky as it was a very pleasant sunny weather.
The round trip ticket for cable car is €44 per person and it’s truly worth. You can get 10% discount if you have a welcome card from the hotel which is offered to the tourist by local government.
The cable car starts from Congress station.
People spend most of the time on the middle level where there is a Cloud9 bar and restaurant and relaxing chairs on the edge of the mountain with breathtaking views. You can actually spend the whole day in the mountains and will enjoy it. If you don’t do Skiing you can enjoy some other sports like winter bike and sliders. We had a lot of fun doing this activity. Ideal for whole family.

Passeio sensacional. Pegamos o funicular na estação Congresso, onde compramos o trajeto de ida e volta com o AlpenZoo incluído. Fomos parando pelo caminho. Em Seegrube disponibilizam esquis para crianças descerem assentadas um morro de gelo. Com uma esteira para subir até o alto. Tem um igloo com esculturas de gelo. Nesse dia a subida até o Hafelekar estava proibitiva devido ao mau tempo, mas fomos até lá e tiramos uma foto no topo de Innsbruck.

Best experience to do in Innsbrück. The trip was broken into 3 parts with a restaurant on each level. We decided to eat and drink on the middle level where there was amazing views! Loved watching the skiers and snowboarders whilst drinking a wine. We even had a few goes on the beginners slope with the free hire option.
Highly recommended for a day out and worth every penny.

I am planning to visit there on may 15 of 2022 and was wonderinf if we could play with snow during the date mentioned? Or will be melt by then?
hi is the cable car opertional during month of May. Planning the trip during May 2020 with family.

I am not 100 % sure but I would think so as there are a few stops on the way up to the steep climb., As most of these kind of places have mountain walks at the top I would think it will be open.The best thing to do is visit the website and it will tell you. I am returning in May and certainly hope to go back up.
