Call Emily our tour guide-Annelie—was truly superb! our tour was centered on the music history of the area, and she surprised me with her in-depth knowledge of the history. As a professional musician, I was especially pleased with the insight and background she provided. I would heartily recommend her for anyone seeking a unique and enriching overview of the areas history.

Our private, three-hour walking tour with Annelie, an excellent guide with Insight Cities Vienna Tours, was the highlight of our visit to Vienna. Kind, knowledgeable, and friendly, Annelie escorted us to key places that connected us to Vienna's classical music heritage and was open to helping us exploring our stated interests. We enjoyed viewing Annelie's many photos/pictures that corresponded to the locations and listening to music of the composers we discussed. Annelie recommended a totally delightful restaurant for lunch at the end of our tour. We felt so fortunate to have Annelie as our guide, and she has our highest recommendation.

Annelie was an exceptional, extremely knowledgeable and well-researched, friendly, passionate and enthusiastic guide. She was very thorough and flexible in adapting her tour for me (a classical musician) and my partner (an architect). Annelie manages to create a tour that was an excellent combination of both our interests. If you are in Vienna for only a few days, do yourself the favour and book a private tour with Annelie!

What a phenomenal tour with Annelie! My eldest Son who is a musician suggested this tour and we are all music lovers. Annelie was friendly inviting and excited to talk about not only all things music but all things Vienna. It was very moving and informative. Highly recommend booking this if you are a fan of music. Was amazed at all the composers that lived and worked together here.

What a great tour! Our guide Angelika made our afternoon in Vienna sing! She showed us places we would not have seen and told us their stories. She navigated us through the city both on foot and with public transportation and made sure our afternoon was exactly what we wanted!

Angelika is an excellent guide who explained the history of Vienna and the lives of the various rulers through the ages, primarily the Habsburg family. She used various methods to tell the stories, including audio samples and photos, that helped tie in all of the music history. This was a dream trip and tour for me as a lifelong musician. Seeing where Mozart, Brahms, Schubert, Beethoven, Chopin and Mahler (etc.) lived, composed and performed was incredible. Thank you for a wonderful memory!
