Thanks Vittoria, we did both the snowshoeing as well as a (windy) visit to Mjelle beach - watching the full moon all day :). Exploring the lake area and one of my favorite pine forests was also within reach before it was dark. It was easy being a guide for the two of you since you were well used to outdoors. I really enjoyed the trip too!

Thank you Anton! I was impressed that you stayed at Misten (favorite AirBnB) these days. And what a day we had! These sunny, cold, crispy days is nothinmg to expect every day along the coast in Northern Norway. Know what? This trip is the first snowshoe trip we do in this area; I have never crossed that bridge with snowshoes. But I knew excactly how pristine that landscxape were. So happy to share it with you!

Thank you Christian, we do our best to reply as quick as possible. We are happy when we are able to switch dates, but it was a bit unusual that visitors arrive one day prior to planned date. We fixed it !

Vielen Dank Dörte, (I would need to proceed in English...). The area we visited this day is really one of our favorite areas. Making an open fire winter time is always a nice experience. As Norwegians we should never forget how lucky we are to have the right to roam and, walk everywhere (even on private land) and even make an open fire. Thanks Jenni, You got it: I really love what I do (especially on such a great winter-day). Guess you also noticed it; I enjoyed to have some fun with William, it was really nice to meet the 4 of you. I was really surprised when I figured out you knew the two others as well. That is a good start for such a trip into the Hidden Valley. Not sure if I asked you if you enjoyed the time spent alone by the fire (while the others explored the forest by snowshoes) - but I do remember the open fire gave your boot a special treatment, right? Ending that day at the top bar was just the right thing to to. If/when you and William ever come back to Northern Norway; reach out for more true wilderness experience - I noticed you both enjoyed it!?

Vielen Dank Gerhard, both me and my guides enjoy these kind of small group trip. Making an opern fire has always been one of my favorite things to do in Northern Norway. Exploring that winterly pine forest (I just recently explored that forest a few months ago) was great. My surprise that day was of course when I understood that already knew the two others that joined last minute!

Thank you Jan, The guests are what makes our experiences interesting - we like meeting new people and of course to get your perspective to Northern Norway where we live. We were lucky with everything on this trip; we saw the moose, some sea-eagles, even the Dipper (national bird of Norway) and we had perfect conditions for snowshoeing. We even managed to get you on to the ferry for Lofoten. Then you met the storm - I guess that was an experience too?
