We had a fabulous time with Brynjar on an Aurora night safari. Friendly, the heart of an adventurer, and extremely knowledgeable, we were very lucky to not only experience an incredible Aurora display (!!), but to also have had him as our guide.
When spending 5+ hours with someone, it's great when you enjoy their company, but beyond that - his set up is top notch. The panorama bus immediately makes you feel more connected with the night around you, super comfortable seats, and the thermal suit he had to offer us all came in handy on our very cold night. We had a thirty-ish minute Aurora dance, and so having the access to thermal suits made the night that much more comfortable when we went to sit under the night sky.
My husband is a hobby photographer, and thorough enjoyed access not only to a tripod, but Brynjar's tutelage on how to set up his own camera to capture the evening. He also set up a camera to capture the entire group in portraits. Those photographs are incredible and will forever be memories of that night.
We toured with more than one company, and couldn't give a higher recommendation that to trust your journeys with Arctic Breeze! We highly recommend him, and hope to be back again soon!
OH - and don't forget to say yes to the hot cocoa and cookies :)

Highlight of our Tromso trip! We’d definitely recommend a northern lights tour with Arctic Breeze and particularly Brynjar. Once we were all on the very comfortable mini-bus, he explained our chances of finding the northern lights and how he recommended trying a few different places to get good views and good scenery. He was very informative throughout the tour and shared his local knowledge, passion and anecdotes. He was particularly patient in showing us all how to use our phones and cameras to capture good pictures of the lights and took plenty of professional photos of us and the aurora which he later shared. An excellent evening far beyond our expectations. Tusen takk Brynjar!

Amazing evening! We definitely recommend going on this tour. We enjoyed all the night! Our guide Brynjar was very nice, he transmitted his passion and knowledge about northern lights, we learned lot of things. He took the time to teach us how to make good northern lights photographies and he also took photos for us during the evening. He took us to different places to see the aurora that night and indeed thanks to Brynjar we had the chance to be at the best spot to see amazing northern lights. We also spent some time next to a fire with some hot chocolate and cookies. This was a perfect night! Thanks again :)

We trusted Arctic breeze in helping us chase the northern lights and oh we were not wrong.
The patience and motivation Brynjar displayed on the tour helped us experience the most unique northern lights of green and pink color!!
We were able to witness an active display half an hour into the journey, where he also helped us with the camera settings (camera plus mobile both) individually. He was very prompt in clicking our portraits since it was a very active display and we didn’t know how long it will last.
Then he took us to different place and we stayed there and we saw some faint lights but he didn’t give up and kept motivating us to stay longer and then later around 11 we again saw a very good show all thanks to his patience!
Absolutely recommend this tour and the guy behind it Brynjar.

From our courteous local Norwegian guide/driver to the lovely sightings of the beautiful aurora.
We were fortunate in that although we left in cloudy, snowy conditions, Brynjar managed to find a spot with a cloud opening and Aurora made many appearances!!!
Smaller group - max 16 pax - complimentary professional photos (sent by email a day later)plus assistance in adjusting your phone etc.
Bonfire, hot chocolate, cookies.
What more could one want!

The experience was incredible!! He was like a northern lights wizard, took us to locations without a single cloud, where we could experience magical Auroras beyond our expectations. Unlike other tour operators, as many photos of you and landscapes are included and if your hotel is far from central Tromso he'll take you there so you don't have to take a taxi in the middle of the night.
It was the best experience we could ask for and we would totally recommend it.

We enjoyed this tour. There were other groups on large charter busses. Our group was only 16 people so the guide was able to give individualized help with camera settings and take our portraits. I will say that the panoramic coach is nice but a gimmick. You'd never see the aurora from the van with all the reflective lights inside, and the top was covered over with ice anyways. I debated chosing a tour that offered dinner but I'm glad I didn't because the most spectacular display appeared so quickly we might have missed it if we were eating around a campfire. Our guide had warm clothes and tripods for all of us to borrow. He made a bonfire and offered cookies with hot chocolate. The sites we went to were nice landscapes and he had a good feel for when to move and when to be patient. There is a lot of luck involved depending on what night you go, but we got the impression that the guide was very knowledgeable and would do his best to make the night worth it. He took great photos and sent them all the next day to download for free. Several other tours charged for this.

Went on this tour in December and had a great time. Really well looked after and our tour guide was happy to take photos. Got to see an amazing display.

The guide asked wisely to us for cancelling the booking if they couldn’t guarantee a.k.a chance possibility to see the northern light is really low. Indeed, they do a research for finding the best positions to see aurora. And in the end, we saw it!

We really enjoyed Aurora chasing with Arctic Breeze, the whole evening was just perfect. Brynjar is very experienced guide. He told us interesting informations about the aurora and also about Tromsø area. We did not have to wait for aurora that evening too long, it came maybe one hour later since we left Tromsø and it was big show that night (with short breaks). We will never forget this experience. Thank you :-)
