Regina did a wonderful job explaining how to use the Segway! She was very knowledgeable and patient and made sure everyone was comfortable and knew how to use Segway properly.
Bergen is beautiful but be prepared for the cold if you are from a warm climate. The breeze when you are speedily traveling through the city can bite if you are not prepared. Wear thick gloves, your thickest jacket, warm socks, and a scarf. A thick beanie that fits beneath the helmet is also helpful.l I'm

Had a very fun experience and informative tour of Bergen. Tobias our guide was a great teacher and most of our group had never used a Segway previously. The Segway made going up and down the hills of Bergen a breeze. Learned about the history of Bergen and saw lots of areas of the town.

So much fun! Our family of (extremely) novice Segway riders had a blast on this unique and informative tour of the beautiful city of Bergen. Regina, our tour leader, was an excellent guide, but also a skilled and patient instructor. We had time to practice before setting off, and by the end we were all confident in our new abilities. This was a fabulous way to see a lot of Bergen in a short amount of time, and we really appreciated the history we learned along the way. We would definitely tour with Bergen Segway again!!

This was a fantastic way to see the city of Bergen! We have traveled a lot, and Bergen was one of the prettiest cities we have seen. Every street is beautiful, but it is very hilly so if we had tried to walk everywhere we wanted to go, it would have taken forever. Gina was a great tour guide and did a great job of explaining different parts of the city. We were the only two on the tour, but I know they get busier in the summer months. I would definitely do something like this in another city!

Excellent. Regina was an excellent tour leader. We covered Bergen in a fun and interesting way. The tour was punctual. We had a practise session first then we were away.

It was a great way to see Bergen in the short amount of time we were in port. Our guide led us to places we would never have seen on foot. I highly recommend them.

Regina was a great guide - she taught our group how to work the Segways patiently and thoroughly, seemed to have eyes in the back of her head making sure everyone was safe, and had knowledge of the points along the way. Segway was easy to learn. We were only in Bergen for the weekend so the Segways helped us cover WAY more ground than we could have on foot and we got to go to places we couldn't have in a car. We went on the 8pm tour on Saturday, May 6 and it was still very light outside so we had the full day to walk around the market and do the Fjords boat tour. This was a great thing to do at night. Not many places in the world you can do a daylight Segway tour at 10pm! Very cool. Bring your gloves - exposed hands got cold in early May.

Amazing tour ! What a fun way to see the city of Bergen. A must do tour, especially if you are in a family or group and doing Segway for the 1st time. One need to watch out for instructions carefully, we saw some minor falls and luckily no injuries.

I’m not sure where you are staying, yes it’s in English and the company is very obliging. Give them a ring and pre arrange, pretty sure they will do something for you.

I don't think it is that is expensive in that a bus tour of the city is not a lot less and this is much superior. Also I've gone on segway tour of Philadelphia and regular price was more but with discount I got, Philadelphia tour was not a lot less. I booked same day at tourist office because I think tour would be not pleasant in heavy rain and I heard it rains often in Bergen and it had rained heavy 2 days earlier. Light rain would be no problem. I don't know popularity of tour, but I think it also depends on when cruise ship is in port.

When I went there were 4 tourists an 1 leader. Leader said that was ideal. I would say it depends on the tourists. I'd say 8 would be a maximum assuming all the tourists are not particulary clumsy and are cooperative.

I would say generally it is not for handicapped. Main ability needed is to have some degree of balance on two feet and navigate similar to being on a bicycle.
