Great experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our ghostly tour of Ilfracombe. Our guide, Mark, was both informative and enthusiastic. All of the different stories were fascinating and the harbour felt very atmospheric at the end. We would definitely recommend for adults and children alike.

Enjoyable and interesting evening.

I booked this well before our visit to Ilfracombe, so was really looking forward to it and we certainly were not disappointed. Mark was the perfect host and his knowledge of the history of Ifracombe was immense! The stories that Mark told us were interesting and fascinating and he tells these stories with a great passion.
I would highly recommend Mark and all of his tours. Well worth it!

Great family evening!

Brilliant evening tour! The guide even very kindly let us join the tour as I had accidentally booked for the week after (when we would be 250miles away back home!). Brilliant narrative and historian with lots of really interesting facts about Ilfracombe. Kept my 10 and 14 year old entertained throughout. Not too scary for the kids - just the right amount of spooky. Left us with things to go and look at in more detail afterwards which was great. Would definitely recommend!

Great couple of hours

Mark was a fantastic guide , told the stories with real passion and didn’t feel rushed with the tour

Great fun

Great fun. Lots of colourful stories and a wonderful way to bring the past to life. Well worth it for something a bit different for a couple of hours.

Informative and entertaining, Mark was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. My wife loves the paranormal and she loved it, I’m a sceptic and enjoyed hearing about some of the dark history of Ilfracombe

Great infomative tour on what ended up a drizzly Thursday evening on Ilfracombe harbour very atmospheric and cosy! Mark really knew his stuff about the old pubs and hotels and their spooky encounters loved it!

An entertaining harbour stroll

Mark is an excellent guide who has thoroughly researched the characters he discusses on the tour. Along with entertaining stories there is a lot of history relating to the harbour area which makes for a very interesting 2 hours. The tour is an easy stroll in a lovely setting.

A darker side of Ilfracombe’s history

Thoroughly entertaining and highly interesting evening. The walking tour brought many aspects of Ilfracombe history alive through the use of local legends and researched events. Plus starts in a great pub which happens to be connected to many ghost stories. Highly recommended by us a couple on a family holiday with grown up kids also enjoying the evening.
