We had specifically booked this tour because of the dolphins. After a brief search, the captain of the boat quickly gave up and moved on to the next activity, which was a simple Thai buffet on a coarse pebble beach.
After the meal, we went to the snorkeling spot, but there was absolutely nothing to see in the very murky water, and there was mold on the diving mask and snorkel.
Finally, at the last stop, Pig Beach, there were 10 pigs roaming around with 40 tourists crowding them, which wasn’t very well-managed in terms of the crowd.

We sincerely apologize for the disappointment you experienced during the tour, especially regarding the dolphin search, the snorkeling conditions, and the crowded visit to Pig Beach. We understand how frustrating it must have been to not see the dolphins as expected, and we regret that the snorkeling conditions were not up to standard. Additionally, we are concerned to hear about the overcrowding at Pig Beach and the lack of proper management.

The pictures in the leaflet are very deceptive.
You need to know you will have at least an hours bus journey to the beach. After that around an hour to get to where you might spot a dolphin. That is all it ever is you might spot a tail or dark shape in the distance. Because so many people are in the boat and all trying to take photos by the time someone spots a dolphin and you get to the side of the boat, it is gone. The sea was very choppy the day we went so with all the spray we were soaked after a few minutes. We were soaked anyway as you have to wade through the water to get on the boat. Not a problem if we had been warned.
We had a meal which was OK unfortunately after that it is back on the boat and the choppy sea. Quite a few people felt sick. Only 20 minutes snorkelling and then off to Pig Island. Beautiful sandy beach and a cafe on site.

It was a nice trip! Of course, dolphins cannot be guaranteed, but the sweet Crew really tried to find them, and they succeeded after just 15 minutes! Super cool!
The snorkeling part is also super good! Cool equipment and vests if you want to be on the safe side :)
The lunch was a buffet and it was super delicious!!
Pig Island is very cozy, also very touristy, you only get the pigs. If you stay for more than a few hours, you will probably get a little bored.
There are many people on the boat, so possibly sit at the front/outside of the deck.
KING HISTORY:
We had forgotten our wallet with money and cards at the restaurant, and only discovered it when we had sailed on to pig-Island!!
Someone from the crew ended up sailing the wallet to the island we were staying on, from the restaurant, then picked it up and came back to our hotel at 8pm to return it to us personally!!
Everything was still in the wallet of course! And he was super sweet despite his VERY long work day!

Moi et ma compagne avons voulu faire une expérience avec les dauphins malgré que l’activité n’avait qu’un avis (5/5) nous avons quand même fait confiance et réservé. La journée que nous avons passé était une perte de temps et d’argent. Nous sommes partis vers 9h20 du port, donc 20min de retard sur l’horaire annoncé. Nous sommes arrivés vers 9h50 et jusqu’à 11h aucun dauphin. On va donc manger, la nourriture était un buffet et il était bon! Après 1h de repas on repart pour spotter les dauphins. Nous n’avons jamais vue de dauphins!!! Je trouve cela honteux sachant que c’est l’activité principale. Ils vendent du rêve! Est-ce qu’on n’a pas eu de chance? Je ne sais pas en tout cas ce n’est pas une partie de casino, ou on vient pour de la chance. Ils vendent l’activité, on paye pour voir des dauphins on n’en voit pas! C’est très triste… vers 13h on a fait du snorkeling, l’endroit n’était pas du tout exceptionnel et presque pas de poissons. Cette activité a seulement duré 30 min ce qui n’est rien du tout. Après cela nous sommes allés au pig island 45 min - 1h. C’est la seule activité qui était chouette, attention les cochons ne sont pas comme sur les photos que vous voyez sur internet ils sont pas dans l’eau et sur la plage. Après cela nous sommes retournés il était 15h environ. Je trouve ça très cher comme activité 76€ pour être resté sur un bateau à chercher désespérément un dauphin qu’on a jamais vue pendant des heures… et faire 1h30 d’activité 76€ c’est cher! Je ne vous recommande pas cette activité! Je tient quand même à dire que le personnel de bord était sympathique.

Thanks for your feedback and we have therefore made sure to share your comments with the tour operators .We are really sorry to disappoint you. We think your expectations were to high . You can't always expect you'll see dolphins playing near the shore or jumping out of the water. The tour operators team knows the right place and spots of Dolphins .In order not to waste any time , The tour operator take you to have lunch buffet and spend time on Pig island , more than 1.30 hour. And all the pickup services for the tours in Koh Samui are usually by shared minivan to pickup customers from remote locations. There are many people travelling with you in the same tour . So that’s why the tour started late a bit . We do however , hope to get another chance to showcase is truely about welcoming you back again in the near future.
