From the very helpful and informative first phone call to Zack at R and R to a brilliant kayaking day guided by Pandi this was definitely the highlight of our summer holiday!

Zak and our instructor were fantastic from start to finish. The equipment was well cared for and the kayaks were very stable. We headed out with perfect weather and made our way to Coquille Bay. The waters were calm and the beach deserted. By the time we headed out to Fisherman’s Island the winds picked up, the rest of our day was rough going into the wind. The kayaks were great though and we enjoyed our paddle and were happy to reach the beach in Marahau with our pickup waiting for us. Thanks for a great day!

Thank you very much for providing such great feedback. Its great to hear you had a good time and that it was a good day out on the water. The wind can be tricky for kayaker's but we aim to give you really good equipment and information on where to go to best avoid too much wind.

The weather wasn’t on our side but we made the most of it and had a brilliant time staff were friendly and accommodating would highly recommend to anyone wanting to see the coast

R and R is a jewel in the crown amongst local kayak companies. Arrived in Marahau late and left query on line for a booking next day. Zak rang back quickly and gave a really helpful explanation of the tours available. We booked a half day kayak guided tour which was BRILLIANT. Off the back of Zac's general guidance and help on the best local sights, beaches , walks etc we stayed on an extra few days. The Water taxi to Anchorage and walk back is highly recommended! Would 100% recommend everyone visiting Marahau uses this company!!

We had the best day on a private guidet tour in kayaks in Abel Tasman. Our guide, Pandi, was amazing, and he was really good With the kids. Thank you very much. Big recomandation from us.

Its great to hear your private tour went well.
We love to have families come out kayaking with us. Kids really can make the tour quite fun for the guides.
Its great to mix kids in with sea kayaking a beautiful coastline.
So many cool spots to swim :)

The guys at R&R were great. They were very friendly and very thorough in preparing us for our trip. It was our first time sea kayaking and they made us feel very confident with it.

Its very common for a lot of our clients to be first time kayaker's.
We always run through a detailed safety briefing that answers all your questions.
Our aim is to make our clients comfortable before departing on their trips.

The R&R team were fantastically friendly and helpful from the start. The set up at the base is great and all the kit seems new and great quality. The briefing was clear and helpful with great tips on the spots to visit and then we were off on our own. Wow what a location for kayaking! The sun was out and the scenery was phenomenal. Genuinely the best Kayak trip ever and we have done quite a few. 100% recommend R&R. They are a great outfit!

Was so good, absolutely enjoyed it and our guide was very helpful and so lovely. Thank you so much Whitney and R & R kayaks. They were so helpful and flexible as there was a cyclone coming in up North and they managed to fit us in a day early. . Highly recommend.

My dad, my partner, and I had a fantastic experience with R&R Kayaks and thoroughly enjoyed the day out! They were super helpful when we needed a hand and made us feel very well looked after. Great kayaks and quality equipment! We want to come back to explore more of this stretch of coast! Thanks again to everyone at R&R Kayaks.

A wonderful day out, apart from the weather !!
Just rocked up in Marahau, we had all the options and prices explained to us; chose the one day, sea kayak hire for two couples, which we thought was good value. Was given all the gear, with instruction, and the full safety talk by Aaron…really thorough and informative; we were also given maps and timings of where we could get to, and more importantly, where we could be picked up from, with emergency options! The gear was all good stuff, the trip was great, but for strong winds curtailing our day ! No problem being picked up, hot showers back at base, all in all, a cracking experience! Thanks Guys
