In a nutshell: we had a blast! We booked a day sailing trip with Michael. Communication beforehand was super easy and it all worked out perfectly. He picked us up at the Lavagna trainstation, we discussed the route and off we went. Michael took us to a not so busy part of the ligurian coast where we could do some snorkelling and enjoyed the delicious lunch he had prepared for us. He is very interesting and easy to chat with and made us feel very welcome on his boat. Huge recommendation for a day very well spent!!

This sailing trip was the first time on our vacation that I really felt like I was on vacation. Tranquil Mediterranean waters, a soothing breeze, and majestic landscapes. What more could you ask for? Mike was terrific, making sure the whole family was comfortable and safe, and tailoring the trip to our wants/needs. We were expecting a simple lunch, and simple it was…but in the best way. Prosciutto and melon, local focaccia, caprese salad, and a few other things….all fresh, perfect, and delicious. (And he has a delightful twist on the classic Aperol Spritz.) Highly recommend sailing with Mike!!

My wife and I had such an amazing day with Mike on the water. We didn't realize that it was just us (he only books one group per trip). He reached out to contact us to make sure we found the boat. The boat was very well maintained and clean. Plenty of room (40 foot sailboat). He provided a great lunch and fruit salad in the afternoon. Aperol Spritz was plentiful. He was super friendly and a great host. The water was AMAZING. It took about a 1.5 hours to get to the spot where we ate, swam, had drinks and just enjoyed the environment. Lots of good conversation and just a truly memorable day. We spent three weeks in italy and our two favorite events were our private tour in Venice (Fiona Gusto, also on Trip Advisor) and the day on the boat with Mike Stegner.
THANKS Mike for a truly wonderful day and memorable experience. We appreciate it so much.

We loved everything about this boat trip - Mike, the captain ensures you have the best time :) we were so well looked after and he thought of everything to make us comfortable. Lunch was outstanding and the music was very tasteful and relaxing 10/10

Friendly Canadian skipper Mike made us feel so comfortable and safe on his beautiful yacht. Very relaxing and fun day, highly recommended. Loved the swimming and Mike was wonderful with our reluctant teen. Delicious lunch and drinks. Highlight of our trip to the Ligurian coast.

What an incredible day on the water. From start to finish, Mike did everything to ensure we had the best day! We sailed around and saw the most gorgeous views, swam in the beautiful sea, ate delicious food and enjoyed the sun. Lunch was a highlight with fresh fruit, meats and cheeses and of course focaccia bread that was just made fresh that day. We felt really safe on the boat and he even took a few minutes to go through safety precautions before we left the dock. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a fun and relaxing day - either with friends, family or partner. Thanks, Mike for everything!

Mike is the absolute best. We had such a great time on our six-hour cruise in the Ligurian Sea. Definitely the highlight of our trip to Italy. Everything was very easy from the moment we met Mike at the train station. He provided plenty of food and drink for an amazing day on the sea. I would recommend this cruise to people that want to have a relaxing peaceful experience on a sailboat in Italy.

We had an amazing time on our day sail with Michael. He went out of his way to make our sailing trip a memorable, once in a lifetime experience. We sailed to several beautiful seaside towns. The views were amazing and it was a gorgeous day to sail.
Michael is a combination four star host and seasoned sailor. He provided a delicious breakfast (fruit and local pastry) and he makes the best Aperol Spritz we’ve had in Italy. He also offers beer, wine, soda, and, water. Lunch was prosciutto and melon, a platter of ham, cheese, olives, and pearl onions, a delicious caprese salad, and local focaccia. For dessert there was a huge platter of fresh fruit. Everything was fresh, delicious and expertly prepared.
Michael knows a great deal about the area and gave us an in-depth tour. This was the highlight of our trip to Italy and money well spent! Thank you, Michael!

Trust this tour operator, on the recommendation of the Cintruenigo Viajes agency. I wish I had never gone there.
At first, very good attention and then when I saw that what he had told me did not agree with what he had put into the trip, he was no longer so friendly. I told him that I was missing a day and he didn't do anything, nor was he bothered. Many problems for what I wanted and no solutions.
The trip a disaster.
To begin with, the man who picked me up at the airport didn't even say hello, he took my suitcase and started running with it saying that he was in a hurry, I was almost catching up to him and because I complained, he didn't even answer me.
The first hotel in Rome was in a very remote place that was already scary in the afternoon, not a store, nor anyone passing by. Like going to dinner there.
In a hotel the room key opened 3 more rooms with the same key.
The other hotels are also very remote, don't say it's so we can park the buses because they leave us there and leave. All excuses
You have to pay for the excursions separately from the trip, if you take them with the trip, it is more expensive and if you take them once there, then you have to pay. Some of those that come in are not done, there is always some excuse not to do them. The panoramic excursions are on the highway or road, that is, they explain it to you without seeing anything.
The bus had a bathroom, but I couldn't use it because then the driver had to clean it.
The meals are scarce and always the same, not even the water enters
During the transfer from the hotel to the airport, the driver fell asleep while driving, we told her to stop but no matter, we tried to talk to the guide to no avail.

this review is incorrect. It is about a different tour, qnd NOT Set Sai Tours. You have sent this to us in error. You never booked this trip, and never came out with us as we were closed and not operatiing last November when you said you travelled. Please remove this review.

We had a perfect day on the water with Captain Mike! He was so welcoming from the start, and met us at the train station. The water and scenery was unbelievable - one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. Mike provides an amazing lunch, snacks, drinks. This was definitely a highlight of our trip - just book it, you won't regret it!!
