Previous 5 star reviews are completely justified. Piers adjusted the time of the visit for us and gave us an informed, comprehensive and passionate description of the whole process. The locally sourced antipasti and wine was enough for the evening and included his mothers limoncello. Olive oil bottles were filled, labelled and sealed to order!

Pier is een aangename, toffe gast die zelf de tour organiseert over zijn familiedomein. We zijn veel te weten gekomen over het productproces. De tour werd afgerond door een heel rijkelijke degustatie met allemaal plaatselijke producten. Echte aanrader en toppunt van ons verblijf in regio Vieste!

Dit is een super leuke activiteit net buiten Vieste! We kregen uitleg over olijfbomen en het hele process in een olijven boomgaard en daarna hebben we heerlijk gegeten. Pierre is erg gastvrij en legt het goed uit in het Engels.

An excellent experience,highly recommended. Informative, friendly, genuine and honest explanation of the bio organic olive oil process from soil to bottle. A tour of the family olive grove, with horticultural,agricultural,historical and cultural information from Pierluigi. Olive trees up to approx.1000 years old in the area.
A fantastic lunch provided, bruschetteria style with zero kilometer produce, and the opportunity to see the 'cantina' and buy the oil from the previous harvest.

Pietro luigi nous a fait découvrir sa plantation d’oliviers centenaires voir millénaires. Il nous a fait un récit très complet de son travail, et de sa passion pour ses arbres et son huile.
Nous avons également dégusté une assiette gourmande de produits locaux préparés par sa maman bien sur accompagné d’huile d’olive maison et d’un bon petit vin local. Nous avons passé un très agréable moment au milieu de ces oliviers témoins du travail de générations de cultivateurs. La découverte de cette oliveraie et la rencontre avec Pietro fut très enrichissante et conviviale.
Merci à lui et à sa maman.
Nous avons également dégusté une assiette gourmande de produits locaux préparés par sa maman bien sur accompagné d’huile d’olive maison et d’un bon petit vin local. Esperienza raccomandatissima per conoscere l'alimento simbolo della nostra cucina, che noi italiani tendiamo a dare un po' per scontato. Grazie a Pierluigi e all'evidente passione per il suo mestiere, abbiamo imparato molto sull'olio d'oliva e d'ora in avanti lo sapremo apprezzare ancora di più.

Great experience , and an absolute 💯 "must do", if you visit Vieste!
The host was very nice and super easy in communication. We've been surprised that among multiple languages Italian, English, German, he spoke quite fluent and comprehensive Russian :) ).
In the olives grove, we saw the oldest tree, learned in detail how the trees are maintained and the oil is produced. The variety of local tasty appetizers waited for us on premises. None of us managed to eat everything. Hehe, you may know, when "eyes would swallow" but stomach is already full =)))
The oi l smelled fantastically, and sure thing, we wanted to bring some oil home, so we bought the can for ourselves.
I do recommend this tour from top of my ❤️ , holding my own warm memories about the visit.

Magnifique visite de l’oliveraie avec PierLuigi. Nous avons beaucoup appris sur ce métier exigeant passionnant qu’est la culture des oliviers. La visite s’est faite en anglais mais très facile d’échanger et de poser des questions. PierLuigi est très disponible et pratique son métier avec passion. Ensuite nous avons pris un en-cas copieux préparé par sa maman, servi avec eau, vin et limoncello maison. Tout était excellent et authentique. Nous avons pu comprendre la fabrication et conservation de l’huile. Je serai beaucoup plus attentive dorénavant lors de mes achats d’huile d’olives. Possibilité d’acheter et de se faire envoyer l’huile. Recommandation enthousiaste pour cette famille adorable.
