While the journey is long, you will be amazed at the beauty of the sites. From the shops to the beautiful church, Mont Saint Michel is truly a wonder of the world. Our tour guide was wonderful and knew shortcuts to get through the town quickly.

Julien (our Driver and Guide) was excellent, professional and knowledgeable!
He made the travel to and from Mont Saint Michel seem much shorter than the expected 8 hours round-trip travel time.
Julien was able to explain background history of the French and British, and how it relates to the Normandy region in general and of course he gave us the necessary background to explain how Mont Saint Michel was founded and how is has evolved to present day. His personal interest in history of architecture allowed him to further explain the historical architecture we witnessed at Mont Saint Michel!

We wanted to get out of Paris for a day to see something different. This is probably one of the furthest you could get by car to and from Paris in 1 day with about 4h to enjoy the site. Car ride was very specious and comfortable with on board wifi which helps pass the time (3-4h each way). Mont St Michelle is just amazing - one tip - try to arrive late morning to see the monastery and then aim to get to one of the restaurants just before noon (they will suddenly become really busy and it will take about 2h to have lunch if you get caught in the rush - though 1h30 lunch with good table conversation is pretty standard in France). You can also walk from the bus area to the rock or visa versa in about 30 min if your used to daily walks. The climb up to the monastery involves about 15 min of walking up steps so be ready for that also!

Fred, our guide and driver was punctual, courteous and very informative from the very start of our journey. it took little less than four hours to get to the penisula, and the van we rode going there was super comfortable with all the ammenities like wifi etc. Fred was even very acommodating regarding rest stops at your request or if you would like to make stops for pictures. Upon arriving at Mont Saint Michel, Fred gave is a detailed history of the place, you will simply be amazed of how it came to be.
A mustry also is their traditional omelette, Fred can personally recommend to you a restaurany of your liking depending on your budget.
I personally would recommend this tour. You are in good hands with Fred. Two thumbs up and one off our bucket lists.
