Our guide Horst was personable, courteous, and competent. He added some humor and the tour was 2 hours but we overran the time without issue. We overtipped him with pleasure. I would recommend Horst very highly

We enjoyed our tour of Bamberg with Eberhard. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We found him to be an inspiring human that keeps busy and serving! It was fortunate to have our tour fall on Corpus Christi and see the traditional celebrations surrounding it. Our tour made Bamberg so much more meaningful to us. We’d love to visit again next time we’re in Germany.

We are a group of 13 (12 students and 1 instructor) from a Texas community college and used Ggs for private transfers and ALL tours on our trip (5 cities). They were fantastic. Always on time, always reliable, great communication and knowledgeable guides. We will use Ggs again! Thank you for everything.

Bamberg is.one of the best kept secrets in Germany. It is not hard to find a little or big surprise around every corner. I bought a guide book in one of the local bookstore sanction a self guided tour. Walk slowly, pause often, absorb all.

Is the tour available in English? Also, is the price per person or the fee for the tour guide?

The tour is available in English. The price is usually for the group.
However,I what I would do is purchase a guide book in the visitors center and go on my own tour. That way you can go at your own pace and stop when you wish for as long as you wish. The tour guide usually wants to finish with you and pick up the next group.Take your time. Bamberg is a unique,city.Take your time. Enjoy!!!
