We did the Jet Boat trip with Bruno who was an excellent host and made sure we had a fun experience - he did plenty of 360 turns and power brakes and always checked to make sure we were safe and comfortable before and after these tricks.
He also gave us some bonus time in the boat when we were due to come back so we really felt like he went the extra mile for us.
This particular activity was really fun and this was the second activity we've done with AlgarveXcite - I couldn't recommend this company highly enough for water sports!

We visited the kiosk to Enquire about this ride given we had a ten year old and a child who has special needs (learning disability) we discussed how my son wasn’t too sure about it and felt a little apprehensive, my concerns over my son with special needs and myself too as I’m not really one for water and am a bit of a wimp.
The lady told us that the minimum age was 6 years (I would NOT take a six year old on this) she said that the skipper was very good and would keep it child friendly if there were kids on board and we would be fine. Based upon this reassurance we went ahead and booked paying for all five of us to go on it the next day.
M6 ten year old had got a little anxious about it and on arrival we said how he felt, again they reassured us, so off we all went,
We explained to the skipper too.
180’s & 360’s were fine we got splashed, but the power break was a little too much for all involved really - the boat pretty much goes under water at speed and you are totally engulfed with water, far more than what is shown on their advertising photos and videos. Fortunately the skipper had noticed my son wasn’t too good afterwards and stopped to ensure he was ok. I explained that the power break was the problem and he offered to take my son back,but my son was happy to stay on without further power breaks and other riders felt the same too.
The ride itself is too long, I think 15 mins would be more than sufficient. You get soaked and then travelling around at speed for 30 minutes leaves you freezing cold (even in 29* temperatures)
You’re able to buy the Go Pro footage for an additional €25, but given we’d already spent €155 for the half hour ride we certainly weren’t prepared to pay anymore.
The organisation and management for customers on any of the trips from these is very poor. You arrive, hand over your ticket and are just left hanging around, no one really organising you, pointing you in the right direction/explaining timescales.

I am very sorry your son did not enjoy the trip we do not recommend under 6 years old or under a meter as its is a fast roller coaster based ride on the water , i am happy the skipper was able to accommodate the trip to suit your family better .
We do an amazing Rib boat to see the Dolphins and the Caves this is a 2 hour trip and maybe better suited for your family requirements , if you do return to Vilamoura please contact us and we will arrange this for you .

A ausência de informação em matéria de segurança, como proceder nos saltos, fez com que o meu marido fraturasse a coluna L1. Foram 24h nas urgências do pior hospital do país (Faro) e vão ser 2 meses de recuperação. Atenção.....

Olá,
No ato da reserva dos bilhetes os clientes são sempre informados de que se tiverem algum problema de coluna ou pescoço, esta viagem não é aconcelhável. Assim como, são relembrados na altura do check-in.
Relativamente á falta de informação em matéria de segurança relembro que, antes da atividade iniciar receberam um briefing com as informações de segurança para a viagem.
Assim que se deu o incidente, a viagem foi imediatamente interrompida, o barco regressou á marina e a nossa empresa expressou a maior vontade de ajudar em tudo o que fosse necessário.
Relembro também que esta é uma viagem rápida publicada como uma montanha russa aquática.

Good fun but very expensive, 35€ pp for 10minutes in the sea although we were told 40mins beforehand. Better trips available for less.

This is not true you came to the office and sat and watched the full video as your two lads told you it was 10 minutes , you sat in the office you watched it and then you stood up and shook my hand and agreed it was not 10 minutes as they had told you before walking !

Me and my sister decided to give this a go when visiting Vilamoura. It was absolutely amazing and totally crazy. Be prepared for the power brake which leaves you feeling totally stunned. Andre was a good laugh and we were all completely soaked. Not for the faint hearted but worth every penny. Would highly recommend.

Surprised the family with a spin on the General Lee and can honestly say it was the best craic we've had in ages. Olivia and her team run a very professional set up, we did the action pack option before the jet boat, parasailing, inflatables, water skiing and wake boarding which was excellent value. Highly recommended.
