CANCEL my tour WITHOUT my approval

I sent my address to them before booking to make sure they can pick me up. They asked me to meet them about 2.4km away from where I live. I asked for a small refund due to the unfulfilled pickup service. I decided to meet them at the location provided after getting refused of the refund. To be honest, I complained a little in the email. HOWEVER, they directly CANCELLED my tour WITHOUT my approval just the afternoon before the tour. Do not trust their pick up service. They have lots of excuses to refuse pick up.

Beautiful Barbados Tours & Excursions

They have a saying that the customer is always right....The truth however is that the customer is most certainly NOT always right. The customers at least all of our customers are human which means they all make mistakes just as we do and are sometimes wrong. This individual when they called to book a tour gave a wrong address. Because I like to make sure that when pick ups are not at hotels we have a very accurate location I request that those not staying at a hotel send us a location pin. We will then use google to get a photo of the street view or ask the customer if it is unavailable. We take these measures to ensure every part of the tour goes smoothly. Activities such as Harrisons Cave, The St Nicholas Abbey Heritage Railway and the monkey feeding are ALL time sensitive. This means that suppose we had 5 pick ups in the morning and that some were not at hotels and the rain fell delaying traffic and the address someone gave was not accurate we could waste over 30 minutes looking for the customer that would impact that customers and others on board. Because of this we take EVERY measure to ensure that we know the location our customers are staying. This individual gave us one address verbally on the phone and then sent a totally different location by pin. We attempted to provide her with a new pick-up point based on her new location but her behavior was not one that was appropriate especially as the challenge had been caused by her. We tried and she accused us of causing her to suffer and made many concerning statements. It was very highly unusual. Several of our staff had interactions with the individual and because she also visited our trailer location and displayed loud aggressive and concerning behavior. I the owner of the company deemed it best in the interest of our other customers and staff that this person is not on a group tour with our other customers and negatively impact their experience. Group tours are just that they are group, shared tours not private and other individuals must be considered. I will share an extreme case with you in this response. Many years ago we had a tour that visited The Wildlife Reserve and Harrisons Cave. The rain fell at the reserve and the monkeys did not come out of the trees. Everyone understood but one customer who decided that this was not good enough for her and she yelled and screamed from that stop to the next not allowing anyone else to enjoy the tour. I called her operator and explained and got permission to remove her from the tour. They told me put her off and leave her. I did not do that I personally drove to the next stop and told her that her tour ended there, and I was there to return her to her hotel. ALL of the other customers clapped. If we can see that an individual will create an unpleasant environment for others on our tours because of the behavior, they choose to display we will not allow them on the tour. We do not live in a world by ourselves, and we must show respect for each other. I will not apologize for standing on this principle for my customers or my staff. We have wonderful staff and amazing customers who deserve the best!

Comie was an excellent guide and was very knowledgeable about the history of Barbados. We had a lot of fun watching the Monkeys And the Abbey was very interesting. We even had a rum tasting, which was unexpected. Lunch was very good, we had flying fish or chicken. The caves are definitely a must see. Absolutely stunning. We ended up seeing most of the island going from place to place. I would recommend this to everyone who visits Barbados.

Informative and enjoyable tour. Ask for Charles.

What an amazing experience! Highly recommend this tour especially with Charles!!! He is the reason we loved it so much. Because it is low season here for travel, we were the only ones on this tour but my husband and I believe it was meant to be because we had Charles to ourselves. Charles was extremely informative and had knowledge behind belief and we even got to get to know him personally a little bit, which was really nice. We enjoyed all the stops especially lunch and watching the monkeys being feed. One tip I will leave is to wear tennis shoes or something as such. We saw so many people that had the wrong type of footwear on and they mentioned how they wished they wore comfortable shoes. Even if you don't want to wear them, bring them just in case. Also, try the rum, even if you don't like alcohol, the experience is worth it! If the people we met from England and Ireland at the Cave see this post, we really loved hanging out with ya'll and were in such a hurry we forgot to get your contact info. Would love if you see this and reach out. Last words, ask for Charles!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful way to see more of Barbados and its history.

The tour was so informative, and we got to see other parts of Barbados. Our guide was the best that picked us up and was with us all day was so amusing and great. He not only relayed history of Barbados and the sites but also tales of his childhood and family At Harrison Cave the guide there was so enthusiastic and knew her information so well. The caves were amazing.

Nice tour

Very good tour.Everthing was very well planned and scheduled.Our guide Kwame was very knowledgeable,good story teller and listener.He was very informative about the history of the island ,told us many jokes ant taught how to speak Bajan English.Bathsheba was a highlight of the tour,its magnificent.Lunch was great,I would do it in a heartbeat again.

Many highlights!

A well organised tour with very limited waiting times at the destinations. Everything was pre-payed, no lines. Pick-up from the hotel was on time. Good information by email before the tour — including information of a waiver for Harrison’s cave that apparently has to be signed electronically at the latest the day before the tour.

As a solo traveler I really appreciated the ability to book as only one person, a majority of other tours seem to require at least two adults — even if the tours are group tours with a minimum number of attendees higher than two.

Our guide Kwame was friendly, open and a good story teller. The route included plenty of backroads, with good views of the island’s different atmospheres. I felt that the time spent at the cave and the abbey was somewhat short, but for the amount of stops planned this was probably inevitable. I would recommend the tour, and might book other tours with the company on future visits.

Harrison Caves 10/10. St. Nicholas Abbey 4/10 and Wildlife Reserve 6/10 and Kwami 8/10

The Harrison Cave tour was fabulous. There were many opportunities to take pictures. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and shared many historical facts with us. Would highly recommend.

The St. Nicholas Abbey was disappointing. It was a self directed tour. It could have been so much more.

The monkeys at the Wildlife reserve were very entertaining during feeding time. The tortoises had a very calming affect while watching them navigating the pathways at there own speed, which was very slow. We waited for the male peacocks to fan their features to no avail. It appeared as if the reserve could use some tender loving care and some upgrading. If you go, we would recommend going at feeding time.

The tour driver, Kwami was a great story teller about Barbados.

Exceptional.

We went on the island tour, Wednesday, October 25. Charles, our tour driver, was outstanding! His knowledge of the history and culture of Barbados really made our day exceptional. He was sure to point out places of interest along our route. At St. Nicholas Abbey, Meghan was entertaining with explaining the relationships related to the Abbey. She answered questions and was indeed knowledgeable. At Harrison Cave, our young tour guide was also well informed of the history. She even sang a song for the group. This added such a warmth to the tour! All of the personnel were outstanding!
I would highly recommend.

Worth every penny

Charles led our tour with humor and professionalism! He was charming and considerate to all attendees. The air conditioned van was a pleasure. Charles made this our favorite day of our weeklong visit to the beautiful island of Barbados. We highly recommend taking a tour with this company.
