My experience went beyond my expectations. I was enchanted by everything that surrounded us: from the lake and the castle, to the culinary offerings, from the professionality of the guides to the beauty of the landscape all around. We felt like we were in a fairy tale! I highly recommend it.

We really enjoy the scenery of the whole area surrounding Castel di Tora. The perfect mix of mountains and lake and the incredible ancient village raising up atop a rock is undoubtedly beautiful!
Also Paolo, the guide, proved to be very competent and knowledgeable both of the place and of its ancient tradition.
Highly suggested!

we really enjoiyd our day at Turano valley, between lake mountains history castles and good food!
the guide Paolo was very appasionate e really well know the places.
The view was incredible, as well the medieval village.
last but not least the food was SO good, the best we had in our Italy's trip.
the only to change would be.... to stay longer!

Went on many tours while in Italy, however Castel de Toro was by far the BEST! The guide, Paolo, was extremely friendly and helpful. He knew everything about the area and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed ourselves and had a wonderful time! He also gave us many helpful pointers on travel in Rome, as it was our first time in Europe. The experience and the guide were amazing, and so was the awesome real Italian meal!! Would definitely go again and recommend to anyone!

If you do not book this tour you will miss out on a one of a kind experience. This was both me and my husbands favorite experience during our 8 days in Rome. We want to go back just for this experience. The tour was great. It was an easy hike with breathtaking views. My husband and I loved everything about this experience especially our your guide and the fact that he invited us to his home. The food was SO good and very authentic! Book this experience, don’t miss out!”

we had a wonderful day away from the hustle and bustle rome, exploring an hidden gem tks to our guide. hike, like, castle, village and.... REAL home made italian food.
