We all had a wonderful experience with Kylie leading us through a diverse neighborhood and restaurants. Great food too! Not the “touristy” places. It’s where the locals hang out. I highly recommend it.

Perfect afternoon spent with tour operator, she is a delightful and knowledgeable lady. Food recommendations were very good and the relaxed atmosphere left us very satisfied.

This is a must do tour if you want a taste of Sydney. Kylie knows how to provide a great tour. Great communication on the meeting location.
The tour was great. We learned about the area we were walking in and were able to try several items during our stops.
We tried coffee, pastries, Indian, Japanese, Vietnamese and much more. The curry bombs were our favorite.
You will leave the tour stuffed.
I’d highly recommend booking this tour.

I cannot recommend this tour enough! A delicious and filling stroll through one of Sydney's most fun and vibrant neighborhoods. We visited no fewer than eight of the most eclectic restaurants, cafes, and bakeries in Surry Hills featuring Australian, Indian, Japanese, Phillipino, Vietnamese, and Italian dishes and desserts. Kylie, our guide, has organized a top-notch itinerary with the flavours (omg, curry bombs) and presentations being consistently great at every stop. I'm sure our group could be heard moaning in pleasure as we roamed the streets. Add to it, Kylie's fun attitude and local knowledge and you have an unbeatable way to spend an afternoon.

This is a fantastic Foodie Tour. My guide demonstrated expert knowledge and fantastic Australian hospitality. I was the only one on the tour, as the four cancelled last minute.She honored my booking and took me on the tour anyway, which left me with more food to eat a private tour experience. I would highly recommend this as it takes a survey of all the different foodie experiences in the Surry Hills area of Sydney. I highly recommend.

Most of my tour group had to reschedule due to a plane delay, but that didn’t stop my friend and I from having a great time on a pseudo-private tour. The tour covered a variety of different food types like Turkish, Indian, Polish even Asian Fusion which led to the discovery of new and amazing foods, and the heart of Sydney’s incredible cuisine scene. Not to mention our tour guide was incredibly informative and nothing can’t be said negatively about her generosity. She personally bought my friend and I many different Australian candies just to give our families a taste of what we experienced. I’ve never had a tour guide be so generous and informative. If you’re looking to discover a new layer of Sydney’s cuisine, I strongly recommend you book this tour. Forkabout Sydney Foodie Walking Tour, you won’t be disappointed.

I really enjoyed the walking talking eating tour through Surry Hills on the weekend. The food was delicious (I was very full!), meeting the restauranteurs was special and hearing the local stories was also very good. I would not have found these hidden gems in guidebooks and I look forward to taking friends to the restaurants soon for more. Thanks Kylie and Forkabout!

Loved this foodie afternoon! We got to visit a wide range of different places and taste some delicious food. Our guide Kylie was really passionate about food and the Sydney restaurant scene and had lots of tips for places to visit/eat at. It wasn’t too far to walk and the little wander between places was actually good for shaking down the last tasting. Even so, I finished the day very full! Would happily recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sydney and interested in food - it gets you off the beaten tourist track and shows you some great options to go back to later as well. Friendly group and very well organised.

I've lived in Sydney all my life and pride myself on knowing the good restaurants and watering holes. The Forkabout tour showed me just how much of Sydney's culinary treasures that I've yet to explore! Kylie was super knowledgable and my partner and I both felt very welcomed and had fun interacting with other members of the tour.

I have never been on a foodie tour before.
I really enjoyed going to the different eateries in Surry hills, and exploring great places right on my door step, which I never knew existed before.

Hi, we are 2 retired executives from the food service business who would like to get a flavor of Sydney Chinatown, Darling Harbour, and other Sydney food hot spots. Do you have a walking tour that addresses our interests? We will be in Sydney in late October.

Hi Curtis, we don't have a walking tour that covers these spots. There are other suppliers that do a chinatown tour though. I would suggest our Surry Hills tour for a more local and varied experience, or our Roseberry tour which is in a new food hotspot. Chinatown and Darling Harbour are mainly a tourist area.
